Not really but he was THISCLOSE to going to the pound today!
Shane got up and decided he wanted Gem and I to walk down to the river with him and look at the ice. I didn't really want to go so I was curled up on the couch with a movie. Shane came in and threw my coat at me and said "Let's go!" So I got up and put on my coat and gloves and off we went....
Well I forgot to grab my phone off the coffee table and I left my camera on the computer desk after taking my 9 week belly pics. We were only gone 20 or 30 minutes but when we got back he had destroyed my phone, my camera and the Wii sensor bar! OMG! I flipped! I threw him straight into his crate and begged Shane to take him to the pound! Thank god it's Saturday and the pound isn't open or Patch probably would not be here!
It took me over an hour to calm down and stop crying. I tried the Wii and it's still working even though the sensor bar looks like crap so I started to feel a little better. Then I checked my Verizon bill and realized I do have the insurance. So we went to Verizon and they replaced my phone (for a $50 deductible!). The insurance so wasn't worth $6 a month. I could get a better phone for $50 if I renewed my contract! But whatever.... I had backed my Blackberry up to computer so I was able to restore my phone book and calendar and all that.
Then we took my camera to Best Buy since I couldn't remember if I bought a warranty or not and I could NOT find the receipts for the life of me! DOH! Luckily I did buy the 2 year warranty so they are sending my camera out to be fixed or replaced. I will be camera-less for 3-4 weeks! GRRRR!
Anyway, sorry this became a novel but I'm so mad! I really thought he was done with the "I'm a puppy and I get mad and chew things when you leave me" phase! So now we're back to crating him every time we leave. This sucks! If you made it this far, thanks!
