It looks cute. I don't have experience with ring slings, although my mom used one with me and loved it.

I HAD that sling -- it was HORRIBLE!!!!

I ended up getting a regular carrier instead.

I HATED my sling LoL. I got a regular snuggli type deal and it was WAY better for me. I used it until she was 6 or 7 months old and then my shoulders and back started crying out in protest

i am lucky i got a little preview with my nephew, so i know i can wear a pocket sling for at least an hour or two. i kept the one i used with him since it didnt fit SIL, it was a peanut shell. so i am figuring one that goes on both shoulders in a similar style would be even more comfy....i think my sister wants to get me that peapod wrap too, so yay!

and good point mari, i should be looking at reviews for this stuff!

Yeah the Dr Sears one. I ended up selling it on ebay. J.J hated it, I hated it -- it just did not work for him or myself. He's not a big fan of being worn anyway because he does not like to be confined -- he much rather be held or in his stroller.

My hug-a-bub sling looks the same as that peapod and it's FAB! I adore it. I haven't used it in a while but Kirsty still fits in it and isn't too heavy for me as the shoulder fabric is so wide is distributes her weight all over my shoulders/back and not just where your bra straps might sit, IYKWIM?

I got a Moby. I might get a ring sling too. I tested out the Moby with a baby doll and it felt great and was easy to get baby in and out of. The only thing I don't like is how it can be hard to get on and off. It is a lot of fabric to deal with!
