My SIL is on her way to the hospital -- Her BP is through the roof high and she is 37 weeks -- looks like they might induce! I hope she has an easy of an induction as I did!
I'm gonna be an Aunt!!! FINALLY!!!! (On my side anyway, on DH's side, I already have 8 nieces and nephews from 4-20 lol)

I AM AN AUNT!!!
My nephew Cole Jacob was born in the early hours this morning at 37 weeks. 7lbs 15oz and 21 inches! That is a BIG baby for 37 weeks!!!

It should be interesting because even though my brother is my half brother - we have VERY similar features and you can tell we are related -- so it should be interesting to see if any of our moms traits got passed on.

I mean, I guess I'll never know because Mike is an only.. And maybe it's the diff between two "pretty close most of the time" sisters, but I have an AMAZING bond with my niece and nephews but I LOVE being the Aunt. Sometimes I have to be a bit of a hardass, because the older two are getting into mouthier more attitudey stage-- case in point, the 11 year old decided that one day, my name was Michelle, "EXCUSE ME, BUT WHAT DID YOU CALL ME???" Ali: "Michelle" Me: "You can go in your room and think about what my name is." Her magical answer not 3 minutes later was "Aunt Michelle" but most of the time, I'm sheer awesome.

They did indeed induce last night due to Pre-E!
All is well though, shes 37w,2d!
I am gonna be an aunt some time today!
I am hoping its today that he comes! I might have to go down afterwork and go meet my lil' man!

Well, her induction is going SLOWLY. She was only 1cm and 0 effaced last night so she was really starting from scratch.
Right now she is 6cm, 80% effaced, -2 station.
She has her epi cause she is on 30 of pit. That seems like alot to me, i was up at 12 and that was all.
She and my brother have not slept since Sunday night so they are EXHAUSTED. My brother does not function on zero sleep.

Congrats Auntie! Wow that is a big baby for 37 weeks! My nephew was 41 wks 3 days when he was born and he was only 7 lbs 1oz!
