I got four kiddos - ages 4 years, 22 months, 10 months, and 1 week - to take a three hour nap all at the same time today! *BOWS*
I realize that there are mamas out there who have four kids and do this everyday, but three of these kids weren't even mine, haha. Today has been absolute insanity including innumberable diaper changes and three rounds of vomit (the adult kind, not the sweet baby spit up kind). Now that my kids are in bed, I'm POOPED!

No drugs were involved in the napping of these children, LOL!
Really, prior to the nap it was chaos. There was poop and milk and vomit and then some more poop and milk and vomit, oy. After the poop, milk and vomit, Violet played in her high chair and I strapped the 1 week old to me with a mei tai while I put the 4 year old and 22 month old down for their nap (they sleep in the same room). Then I laid Violet down for her nap and by that time the teeny baby was zonked out so I laid her down in her bassinet.
Lee went to his vasectomy consultation last week and I've felt some bittersweetness over the fact that my baby days are over. After today, I know I'm ready. I love me some sweet babies but juggling three young children is not for me.

Wow! To get 4 down for a nap at the same time and for it to last 3 hours! You do get a gold star!
I have had 4 at once but the ages were 7 yrs, 4 yrs, 5 mo, and 15 months. THe young one slet the whole time and the two older ones can play on there own.
