this dog? If all goes well, we will have a new dog by the end of the night. We found her on craigslist. She belongs to a military family that is moving back onto base and can't have her anymore. I'm trying not to get my hopes up because sometimes things don't work out but I will keep everyone updated. Any name suggestions in case we do get her?

She is so cute!! I hope it works out!
What is her current name? Unless its hideous, I would just stick with her name. That's just my opinion though.

Hope? Destiny? Something to do with the military maybe to honor her owners?

I am horrible at naming animals Hmmm well since I'm a cheesy pet namer, when I look at her, she's obviously white and the first thing that comes to mind is wintry type stuff like Aurora LoL!!

Hmm Scamper isn't bad...maybe it fits her? When you see her personality, then I think that will help name her. I do like the idea of renaming her in honor of her previous military family.

I think Scamper is horrible too! I love Christens pick...Lola!!! But I also love the idea of honoring her military family! How old is she though? Old enough that she knows her name?

I like Aurora and you can call her Rory....thats what my SIL did!!! I liek the idea of a military name though, although they are mostly for a boy!! DH was a tank driver in the military and named his dog Gunner, or Tank is a good one, but like I said, there more boyish!!

(real name of a dog at the vet i go to! It's from The Little Mermaid, but i thought it was hilarious)

Want to know something creepy? When I looked at her picture the first name that popped into my head was "Hope" and then when I scrolled down...Sam said the exact same thing! So I'm going to stick with my initial instinct and say Hope.

Digglehopper? Haha. Hilarous. We are thinking either George (after the female author George Elliot) or Sadie. Still contemplating. I like Rory but Guy like Aurora for a baby so he vetoed that one.

I would name that dog Scruffy Ruffkin. But that's probably worse than Scamper! Of your ideas, I like Sadie best.

She's adorable! If she was mine I'd call her Asher or Ashes but I like Rory too.
