What things would you say to definitely put on the registry?

Do you think there's a point in getting a bottle warmer?

As for a Boppy- They have fancy ones like this- Boppy Heirloom Pillow - Lion - The Boppy Company - Babies "R" Us Should i get one like that or just a plain one like this- Boppy Bare Naked Pillow - The Boppy Company - Babies "R" Us I had no idea there were different options for them What about pad liners? Boppy Pad Liners - The Boppy Company - Babies "R" Us Are they necessary?

Would you recommend a Diaper Champ or Diaper Genie?

I'm sure i'll have more questions but i'll just leave it at that for now.

Can't help on the bottle warmer as I plan to nurse and that is always at the right temp, hehe.

As for the Boppy, I registered for the Bare Naked and then 2 covers, so (hopefully) I will always have one clean in case baby spits up on it, milk leaks, etc.

I FF Taylor and I got one at my shower and I didn't use it one time I BF Rylie for 5 months and now that I'm FF she gets room temp. water.

I didn't use a boppy pillow, just a regular old pillow did the job for me. If I were to get one I'd say get a plain one and if you want covers for it just in case he spits up.

I've never had a diaper genie and have gotten along fine without it. I usually use old grocery bags and wrap the diaper in it (if it's poo) and throw it out. Though, I wouldn't mind having a diaper genie as I don't always have those bags lying around to put the diapers in and when you change the trash, PHEWEEE!

I got a plain boppy and 2 extra covers. I hate how rough the fabric is though even after multiple washings so I lay a soft receiving blanket over the boppy on my lap and wash those more often.

No tips on the bottle warmer or the diaper pail as we aren't using either.

If you are FF a bottle warmer might be a good idea. My SIL pumps and bottle feeds and she just got a bottle warmer (after like 2 months and some of using just hot water to heat up bottles) and says she likes the bottle warmer. but honestly heating up bottles with hot water only took like 2 min.

we never really used the boppy much, we had a kind of crappy hand me down one and i guess it just didnt fit us right.... i might look for a better quality one for myself....

my SIL got a diaper genie used, and it didnt work, so i have my hate on for diaper genies right now! lol

I got a boppy and then a few of the cheaper covers. if you plan on BF with it you will need at least two covers because you will be super milky at first and will ake BIG messes lol! I have no clue about the pads, must be a new thing. I always just put his diapers in the trash can. Never used bottles but I have heard bottle warmers are a waste.

I have a bottle warmer and use it a million times per day (feeding refrigerated BM). Honestly, I don't know what I would do without it.

I use a boppy all the time too. He takes his naps propped up on it. I just have a plain one that came with 2 covers. I could care less what pattern is on them- both are gender neutral beige colors.

I have the Diaper Champ and it works wonderful for us. No odors so far.

I have the Regular Boppy. The other ones pretty much for looks. I also have 2 covers for them. They were the cheap ones at Target and I dont like how rough they are. I would probably buy a softer one for this next baby. As far as a bottle warmer, we have one and never used it. And our diaper thing I can't remember the name ( Cambria's sleeping so Ill have to check when she wakes ) but one thing I was told to look for Is It's better to find one that you can use regular trash can bags with so your not stuck always having to get Diaper Genie refills. I will say though It runs on batteries and we never change them cause there a pain so it's pretty stinky!

What things would you say to definitely put on the registry?
Things we used a ton in the first few weeks:
Car seat
Bassinet
Sheets
Swing
Bouncy seat
Infant tub
Changing pad, with covers
Receiving blankets (doubled as burp cloths)
SwaddleMes
Soothing Seahorse (like a gloworm but a seahorse)
Baby wash/soap/powder
Brush (he had alot of hair)
Pacifiers

Oh and all the clothes

Do you think there's a point in getting a bottle warmer? not at all. If you use powdered formula (which is the cheapest form anyways) then you can serve at room temp. No need to heat bottles anymore.

Even thought I FF, I did like my Boppy. I was gifted a naked one and given a few cover.

Would you recommend a Diaper Champ or Diaper Genie? Diaper Genie!!!! Spend the extra money and get the deluxe one. It has a foot peddle to open it.

Bottle warmer - we had a handmedown and used it to heat up pumped BM and it was nice for that. Didn't HAVE to have it but nice.

Boppy - def get one I'd say, I still use it for BF and also to put it behind him to help him sit up now. You'll need a couple covers for it.

I'm not help on diaper genie/champ. I have a handmedown but never used it b/c we did cloth.

I got a boppy on my registry with 2 extra covers. I bought my bff one for her baby shower and although her baby is only 4 days old, she uses it quite often.

I put a bottle warmer on my registry but am considering taking it off b/c nobody that I know has used one. Hot water in a cup is the primary method that I've seen used. I do plan on pumping and storing milk while I'm at work but I still dont see me using a bottle warmer a lot.

I got a diaper genie on mine mainly b/c I CANNOT STAND having a trash can that smells like pee. With Miki diapers would be thrown in the regular garbage and to me it just stunk up the whole house even if it was just pee.
