A long overdue update!

Hey ladies! Miss me yet? I know I am way overdue for an update. I've been so crazy busy, that it's all I can do to just update my blog. I'll try not to make this the longest post ever. Short and sweet should do the trick. Well, we moved in September, to the small town in SC where I grew up. I hated living in the town, my job, my OB's, and pretty much everything about it. The week after Christmas, we moved back to Charlotte. I am a million times happier! DH is still working back in SC a few days a week, which sucks, but it's do-able. Our house never sold here, so we just moved back into it. And I went back to my old job at a hospital here.

I check this board at least once a day, usually quite a few times a day. But it's always on my phone, which would take FOREVER to respond on. I hate texting, and I sure don't have the patience to respond to posts with that little keyboard. I am so happy about all the babies born, the BFP's, and all the other good news. And I've also had supportive/positive thoughts about the sad and unfortunate things. My only computer time is a little bit between getting Drake to bed, and when I go to bed. And on my days off, I'd just rather spend all of my time playing with Drake and doing fun things. One of my New Years Resolutions is to spend less time on the computer, while yet blogging more. So that means less time to hang out on JM and facebook.

Now, onto my boys!!! Drake is fabulous, he turned one on 1/5. Can you believe a year has passed? I certainly can't. He walks everywhere, and started saying mama just yesterday. Those were the sweetest words to my ears! He started saying dada months ago, and I've been super jealous. He is cared for in our home on the four days I work- two days by a neighbor, once by DH, and once by a nanny. The other three days he's all mine!!! ( I work 4 ten hour shifts) I love my days off with him. He is so much fun. He's off the bottle completely, and drinks milk or water out of his sippy. That was our only goal before the new baby gets here, and he transitioned in less than a week. I've informed him he can take his binky to college- we aren't attempting to wean off of that for a LONG time.

Now, onto this sweet baby making me HUGE. I should really take a belly pic. I am 27 weeks now, and I swear this is how big I was last time about 33-34 weeks. This second pregnancy is very different as far as how big I'm getting. The weight is still all in my belly again, which is good. The pregnancy is going just fine, my official guess date is April 13. We are doing the nursery the last week of February, when my inlaws are here to help. Now, drum roll please......we have a name!!! Our sweet little guy is Eli David! I just love the name Eli! I can't wait to meet him. I'm hoping for another super fast labor, but I'm also scared it won't be. I'm scared that I won't be able to accomplish another natural childbirth. Or that because of how perfect Drake is ( and his birth was), that something might go wrong this time. But I think these are all normal fears.

There are plenty of pics up on my blog. The link is below in my siggie. It was private for awhile, which I think worked to get rid of some stalkers and crazy people leaving hateful comments. I do occasionally get pics up on facebook. Well, I've rambled long enough!

I'm so glad everything is going well! I was supposed to spend less time on the internet for a new years resolution and that hasn't turned out too well for me!
Can't wait to meet little Eli.

Until then, belly pics would be nice.
