Who is stopping at two children?

We have a lot of ladies on here that are planning a third, pregnant with a third, or want a "big" family. Just wondering if anyone knows for sure that two is the limit.

Shane says this one is it. I'm hoping he won't take any permanent measures until I feel more sure about only having two but at least I will have gotten my wish to have more than one!

Two is it for us. People say to me, "Really, just two?" all the time. And then when they find out both of my children are girls, I get the ever-so-wondeful, "Don't you want a boy?" or even better, "Surely, your husband wants a boy?"

Lee went for his vasectomy consultation last week and it looks like that may be happening in the next few months once we get to Little Rock. I know he's not looking forward to the procedure, but I'm ecstatic!!

We might be done at 2. I have always felt like I want to experience a boy & a girl, but honestly I think even if our next was a boy, we might be done. I get overwhelmed easily with just one, I think I would feel totally outnumbered with 3! But if we aren't done with 2, then 3 is DEFINITELY the most we'll have!

We may be done at 2. If I was a fertile myrtle, it would likely be a different story. I do dream of 3-4 though. But 2 is more likely.

We may stop at two. Dh only wants two. I think two or three but I'm not sure. My age is a factor as well.

Haha, I meant...if I want to be "done" by 35 (which I do), I probably can't have more than three kids. Especially when I don't know how much spacing there will be between them due to TTC B.S.

I am old, so I know for sure we won't have more than 2. We may even stop at one if the first one takes too long.

How old are you again? I'm 29 already so I'm no spring chicken.
I was joking with Dh about sex today and "making a baby" and he acted like he was game to TTC like RIGHT NOW.

I am 27. My hubby keeps mentioning another baby too. Whats with these dudes!? Did your DH hate ttc sex? Apparently, mine did BIG time. I only found out after Jack got here.

I hope you get a surprise baby Shannon. I think that would somehow satisfy my baby fever! I thought you had af already, but you mentioned you weren't ovulating yet?

Dh hated TTC sex and I knew that he didn't like it at the time! It was not fun for either of us "having" to do it. I mean, it was okay for awhile but then when TTC drags on and on...

That's so weird that your hubby wants to make another baby too. Maybe since we're not all crazed about TTC that makes it more appealing?

Nope I have not gotten AF yet! I am okay with her staying away for a few more months though. Maybe when Matthew starts eating solids in full force she will show.

I dunno what the appeal is, but that sounds like it might be why. No pressure, right?

Resi, I already had my "I am going to be 30 one day" freak out. I think. I don't think 30 is old like I did when I was 22. But 40 - WHOA!

Two will be it for us. Our house is 3 bedroom so they'll each have their own rooms. Financially I think we'll manage two okay, but any more than that would be a bit of a mission. There is two of 'us' (ie DBF and I), so we'll be able to handle 'one' each if need be!

Yep, def. happy with planning for two!

Ugh, why does this not surprise me? I'm pretty sure we will be done at 2. I also hve a feeling we'll have another girl too..which I would love, so would DH. But I cannot wait for those lovely comments you described.
