Okay so Dh is watching hockey. I have a question (yes, b/c I am totally sterotyping and assuming all Canadians know about hockey )
How come they wear a helmet that protects their head and ears, and shield to protect their eyes but they don't wear something to protect their mouth?! We all know the sterotype of the hockey player that is missing teeth...why don't they have a little thing go across their mouth to protect them? I'd never want to play, I'd be paranoid of getting slammed in the mouth with the hockey puck!

They do have a mouth guard thing. Look at them while on the bench, they're always playing with them!

This is the best image I could find:

Ya they use mouth guards. They are always chewing and playing with them on the bench, haha so gross.

You can get helmets with more protection (like for kids and stuff) but maybe it obstructions some of the view? I have no idea. But goalies usually wear a helmet with more protections since pucks are always flying at their face.

They were showing images from old old old games on TV a while ago and at that time, even the goalies weren't wearing helmets! That's crazy!

This is what I was thinking of. That's what I would wear if I were to play hockey. Um, except I'd probably be broken in half like a twig.

I went to a minor league game once and the highlight of the game was watching two players get in a fight!

I hate fights. I want to see hockey. If I wanted to see two guys fight I'd be into boxing.

I know Amy loves her hockey fights though
