So I went in for an elective u/s this morning since she was too small to get good measurements this last time. Even though my body is measuring on track, she is measuring 11 days behind. But remember, Morgan was a small baby as well, so Im not too worried. The midwife isnt either. GROW BABY GROW!!!
Now on to the important part. I haven't felt Isabelle much this entire pregnancy, and you guys may remember my post about being worried. Well today it was confirmed that her placenta is up front, so its padding her kicks and movements. Im not exactly happy about this, as I feel very gypped that this is my last pregnancy, and I wont be able to feel every movement, every kick....she had hiccups today which were adorable to see, but I couldn't feel them
So, this is where we stand. She looked healthy, her HB was 156 STILL (both girls had fast heartbeats!!) So shes measuring on track, just small. I DEFINITELY feel pregnant, but this is why my belly isnt too huge yet. My barn owner was amazed that Im almost 6 months along (technically in 2 weeks I will be, but my ticker already moved) Shes like "where is that baby?!" LOL Her spine is perfect, has 2 arms and 2 legs and I even saw a little foot today Ill upload pictures later Just wanted to update you gals

I was just reading up on an anterior placenta, and it said that just like a placenta previa (which I dont have yay!!) that the placenta can "move" more off to the side as the uterus grows. Lets hope this is the case for me!!!

That is true. My placenta has shifted during this pregnancy. At first it was posterier as I was feeling movements quite early at 15 weeks), then anterior, now posterior. So who knows where it will go next. I know one thing though, I can feel her kicking me in my arse and in my bladder and cervix!

Glad the u/s went well! Are they going to do more later on to check her growth? I'm sorry you're not feeling her move much, maybe that will change as she gets a little bigger.

Im sorry her placenta is being stubborn and sitting up front. But at least you know your little girl is doing just fine.

thank you ladies!! I agree Chel, I feel TONS of bladder/cervix movement, and off to the side movements, but not right up front. Well see what the next few weeks brings us!!

Don't worry about not feeling hiccups....I saw Nolan hiccuping on ultrasound at 16 weeks but didn't start feeling hiccups until 26 or 28 weeks. They started out really small and light but now my whole belly moves and he can make my hand bounce up and down, hehe. The fact that he gets them 3-5 times a day doesn't help much either!
I'm sure you will start feeling her more as she gets bigger too!!!

LOL I can see that happening to DH and I. Anytime something funny happens I just can't get back in the mood.

At least you're getting some... DH doesn't want to "soil his little girl"! He said "there are certain lines you just don't cross... if it was a boy it would be different." I have a silly hubby.
Anywho, sounded like a great u/s! Can't wait to see pics!
