I will first apologize for not adding pics to the post but I don't have them right now. I will upload them as soon as I get them.
Now, Amara turned 1 year today and it was such a bittersweet moment. Everyday I'm in awe of how quickly the year had flown by. But it was a year of great accomplishments. I was able to exclusively breastfeed for the full year year and Amara has never been (knocks on wood). She's just doing so well and growing so well.
We had a small get-together for her today and she enjoyed it. I hope I get the pics soon for you.

A year already - the time has really flown by. That is really awesome you were able to EBF for that long Mari. You did a great job! I look forward to seeing the pictures

All of our babies are growing so fast. The first year goes by way too quickly. I was just thinking about how close Oliver is to making it to 18 months.
Is Amara starting to walk yet? I can't wait to see photos!

Gosh Mari, I'm so sorry, I was going to make a post but my laptop is playing up and I didn't manage to. I was thinking about you all day yesterday though!!!

How does it feel that your baby girl is a whole year on this earth? I'm dreading it but excited all the same! As Kirsty will be my only child, I want her to slow down

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!
I didn't cry but I kept reminiscing and watching her as she was having fun.
She wouldn't smile much for her pics though but besides that she was having a blast.
Resi, she's walks unassisted in her playard and sometimes across the bed but she's still timid on the floor. When you put her on the floor, she looks for something to hold on to.
I didn't take any pics with my camera because it would have been too crazy but a friend took some. Hopefully he'll have them to me over the weekend once he doesn't have to work.
