Tonight I am just reheating leftovers. We had pork chops and mashed potatoes and gravy last night and it was amazing. I used this recipe ( The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Ree Drummond) for the potatoes and OMG they are the best potatoes I have ever put in my mouth Ive heard lots of rave reviews about this recipe so I had to try it. And now I think its going to be made quite alot at our house! I definitely recommend them! They key is the cream cheese, it gave them a delicious flavor!

I just put some chicken breast to marinate!!! I haven't been in the cooking mood lately since mostly everything makes me nauseated so I am giving it a try today!!
I marinated them in creole seasoning, garlic powder, olive oil, worcestershire sauce & italtian dressing!! I plan to bake them in the oven at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes!! YUM!!! I am going to cook rice a roni and green beans with it!

I am too! Trying new recipes was part of my new years' resolution for 2010. I've made 5 new recipes so far this year (it's not that much, but my goal was to try at least 2 new recipes a month). I even post about it in my blog ( http://shepurls.blogspot.com) every Friday.
Tonight is vegetarian night, but since I'm sick with a cold and feel lazy, I'm going to repeat last week and make vegetarian pizza. Easy and yummy.

Fi whats your recipe for Chicken pot pie? I love chicken Pot Pie and Chicken and Dumplings.
I think about what I'm having before I go to work. I'll pull out some meat sit it in the fridge and look up recipes online when I get to work lol.
Tonight I'm making grilled jerk chicken legs with mashed potatoes and broccoli although I'm meeting a friend for dinner at Fuddruckers for some burgers lol. I'm pretty sure Will is going to be hungry when he gets home from school and I need some lunch for tomorrow and Wednesday.

i also had night class tonight so i had a six inch pizza sub from subway. ugh it had like one metric ton of onion on it too, all i can taste is onion now! i told him, just a bit, but yah...he put a huge handful. -rant over-
i got my dh a pc of store made lasagna & told him to make himself a salad.
i made up 5 diff 'Dinner Kit - Cook Once Eat Twice' recipes today that you freeze as an entire kit then thaw and cook up, then you take a bit of the leftover meat and use it in a new recipe the next day. i am trying to cut back our food costs and i hope this helps.... i paid $20 for the chicken and beef versions of this system, and you get essentially 10 recipes each for both chicken & beef, if anyone wants the pdf's of the recipes PM me, i'd love to share
