1. Jack rarely gives us kisses, but that doesn't stop him from giving himself kisses.
2. Don't cook broccoli too soft and then feed it to your baby unless you actually like cleaning up big messes.
3. It is not a good idea to feed a baby messy food on the couch in his bumbo. I have proof of this.

Aww!! Hehe! I love the kissing himself thing!

I thought babies were not supposed to get broccoli though? Or am I thinking about some other green veggie I don't eat?

I dunno, it could be broccoli. I saw videos on youtube and read stories about giving babies broccoli to feed themselves b/c it has a built in handle, so I just sorta followed suit I also gave him turkey at Christmas time when he was 6 months old though, so I suppose I just do whatever most of the time. I do avoid shellfish and peanuts though. And apples. I keep hearing how apples constipate so they frighten me. I bet other stuff I feed him also have a reputation to constipate though so what do I know?

As it is, I don't think he actually ingested much broccoli since it was so soft. He seemed to like it though, until he was over it and started making that yucky face, LOL
