My hair fell out in huge clumps all during the 1st trimester, then stopped. Even now that I am lactating, it still hasn't fallen out anyone since then. I wouldn't say my hair got any fuller or thicker during pregnancy.

With Gemma my hair was gorgeous! It was super thick and shiny and full of natural wave instead of my normal frizz! This time it's falling out, looks dull and icky and is breaking and brittle no matter what I do. I'm going to head to the hairdresser when I get my tax return and get something done about it plus get my highlights covered up since they have like 4 inches of roots now.
Oh, and my hair seems to have almost stopped growing completely but the hair on my legs is thicker and growing faster than I've ever seen. I just don't get it.

My hair never got thick when i was pregnant, but I've been pulling it out in clumps for the last 3 months. I am surprised I still have so much hair left. I could make a small dog with the hair I lose.

Ditto!! My hair is so thick, it just falls out in clumps when I'm not pregnant.. And since I'm 3 month post partum, it's falling out in MASSIVE clumps.. It's such a pain and it keeps clogging up my Animal Dyson.. lol

I have thin hair and it got thicker when I was pg. I was looking at pics of me pg the other day and I thinking I really miss my pg hair, it looked good! A lot of it has fallen out since then and it just doesn't look as healthy.

I have really, really thick curly hair. It didn't change any so far in my pregnancy - except it grew SO fast. I finally got irritated with it at about 24 weeks and had about 14 inches chopped off and donated it to Locks of Love. Now I'm rocking a much shorter "mommy" hair cut and I wear it straight a lot of the time. I love it - but I so miss my long hair sometimes.
I'm terrified that it will fall out in clumps afterward anyways.....but, I was also terrified that after I cut it so short my face would get all fat and puffy and I would look horrible. But so far that hasn't happened either!

It's extremley common for women to lose hair whilst preggo. I didn't realise I had done because my hair is thick. But I noticed it when it began to grow back in I had lil tufts of hair in amongst my longer hair at the sides!! It was awful I looked so silly, it's still only half the length the rest of my hair is. But still growing.
