Hi Ladies,
I have already posted about this on TTC#1 and Fertility Charting but thought I'd post here too in case anyone has had a simiilar experience.

I've used CBE OPKs for the last 3 cycles before this one and always had 2 days of + OPKs, and then FF would confirm O day on the 2nd day or the day after.

This cycle I am using FRER OPKs and today was my 5th day of positives. And I mean real positives, where the test line is darker than the control line. In fact the test line is very dark, and the control line is very faint.

I have already peed on an HPT to rule out pregnancy so I don't think that's it. This is making me worry..
My chart is in my signature.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any clue what it could be?

Thanks!!

FRER brand opks suck.... that's whats going on. They are so sensitive, that its hard to see your peak because they always come up positive. Next cycle try getting store brand generics or IC's. They are less sensitive, and then you can get 1 positive instead of 5.

Thanks Alice, I think you're right about the FRER being the culprit. I just tried with a CBE after holding for 4 hours and it was negative. The test line was there but not as dark as the control line. That makes me feel better!

I don't know much about the OPKs. I'm glad Alice was able to help.

I think Alice is right. I've only used the IC ones and never had more than 1-2 days at most of ++
