I think JJ has food poisoning! My poor baby at 6 months old!
This morning around 10 he had his bananas for breakfast -- was a non-expired can of Earth's Best Organic.
Around 11:45 -- he vomited ALL over in the car. Very unlike him.
He seemed fine until around 2pm when he started getting the runs -- BAD. It was the worst smell EVER. When he woke up after a 3 hour nap (unusual for him) he had a bottle, and then had in a row - FIVE diarrhea diapers. Really bad. So we gave him 4oz of pedialyte, gave him some Apples (Sticking as much to BRAT as i can with a 6 month old) and a bath and put him to bed 40 minutes early.
Hes been on antibiotics for a week and they have not cause anything like this, so i am assuming its the Bananas
Is there anything else I should do/look out for??
ETA: He also threw up a little after his bath, just a tiny bit.

I am just lurking hope you don't mind. Has he had bananas before? If he has if it has been less than 3-4 times he could still have a reaction to them. It could possibly be the antibiotics still. My son was on antibiotics for a week and when we gave him his last dose that is when he got the diarrhea and the rash on his body. My pediatrician said that it is because they have maintained a constant medicine level in their blood and the reactions can happen up to a week after. I would make sure he is getting plenty of fluids and rest. Also watch for a rash and a fever. I hope he feels better soon.

Yep -- He's had bananas for quite some time now.
No rash anywhere, no signs of any allergic reactions.

I would bet it's the antibiotics. Can you give him some plain yogurt to put the good bacteria back in his intestinal tract? I have no idea if babies as young as him can have yogurt but I make Gem eat yogurt every day that she is on antibiotics. I really hope he feels better tomorrow!

What did you feed him the night before? Could he have put something in his mouth that you're not aware of?
If this continues I'd def take him to the doctor

This morning he was in my sight at all times. I was playing with him all morning, and then we went to drive to Target and Babies R Us -- he vomited in the car. So I know he did not put anything in his mouth other then toys.
We kinda have been doing Baby Yoplait Organic here and there -- I think I will send some with him to Day Care in the morning.

I would blame the antibiotics too. I saw they had infant probiotics at Target in the med issue. Maybe that would help if he doesnt do well with yogurt. Any fevers?
It sounds like you are doing your best to keep him hydrated. Is he making enough pee diapers? I would take him in if he misses or throws up multiple feedings for much longer or gets lethargic.

I'm feeling your pain, Conner MASSIVE vommitted 3 times the other day which is the first time he's ever done that. He is also on antibotics so maybe that has something to do with it for JJ?

J.J is doing much better this morning :-) He got some more pedilyte around 2:30am when he woke up and then took his entire 8oz bottle at 5am. He was awake and happy this morning and did ok with his antibiotics so far too!
DH just called to tell me that there was a 24 hour stomach bug going around daycare -- so they are gonna watch him closely today and call me if anything happens. I hate seeing my little man sick

I'm seeing this late so I don't think there's much I can add. I'm happy he's doing better.

I'm glad he's feeling better. My whole family had some stomach bug in early January and all of us threw up, including my 2.5 month old. It was scary, but we gave him pedialite and he seemed to do better the next day. The nurse told me not to nurse him for 12 hours, just give him pedialite. When I nursed him again I was told to stop and continue with pedialite if he threw up after the feeding, but the bug was out of his system, luckily.
