Kennedi has the Graco My Ride 65. Most of the girls from my PR have gotten it. I havent used it yet, but I love it already. I cant wait to be able to use it. If it wasnt cold her she would have already been in it!

It was between this or the My Ride65 Nikki mentioned, but when the true fit went on sale we went with it. Its important to us to do extended rear facing as long as possible.

I got a Recaro Signo.. But it's a BIG seat and it's runs around $300.. But it's a good seat and worth every penny..

You should read the Recaro vs Britax review in this link.. It's interesting how each country does crash tests on car seats differently..

Thanks ladies! I had put the Graco MyRide 65 on my registry but when I went to the store and looked at it I said "DAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMNNN" because it was so large. But its seems like most reliable and good quality convertible carseats are a bit bulky.

Its for Will's car. He likes to be able to take carseats in and out of the car but this one will just have to stay in there forever lol.

I would recommend the Maxi Cosi Priori. It is the highest ranked carseat over here in Germany for safety (German safety tests are conducted at 15 mph more than US tests). My SIL has one for her son and its really easy to use, and her son loves it. I bought the same seat for when I am home in the states. I found it on sale at albeebaby.com on sale for $109 with free shipping. It is regularly 199.99. My dad took it took it to the firestation to be installed and several of the techs said that it was one of their favorite seats.

Ladies, for your carseats that do not have the infant head support in them, do you all just buy one to put in the carseat for head support?

I heard that b/c they're not tested with the carseat that its not safe.

Same here! I think I was like...13 weeks when I saw that deal and I snatched it up, haha. I still drool over the My Ride...I'm not sure what we are doing for Grandma's car, so maybe she will get one and if I like it more I will switch with her.

We just ordered the Graco My Ride 65 it will be here Friday. I saw some pictures of a couple day old (I wanna say 5days - 2 weeks) baby in one on the Car Seat board here on JM and she fit in it just fine. Even my small baby(she's the size of a 4-6mo old) fit in it pretty good when we put her in it at babies r us.

I have the Recaro Signo as well and I think it's a pretty great seat. I would suggest to research a few brands and then go to the store to check them out (feel, fit, etc.). Some seats may be great but made for certain cars so I think it's best to go look at them in the store, maybe even test them in your car if that option is available and then decide. Good luck with your choice.
