I had my Dr appt today! This was my first time getting an internal exam since my u/s at 10 weeks. She said my cervix feels great. I'm 2cm dilated, 80% effaced, and the head was nice and low. She also said she can feel my membranes bulging through and wouldn't be surprised if my water breaks soon

She said I had a 'favorable' pelvis too Hopefully I will go into labor soon and be one of those couple hrs, couple pushes, and done type.

She estimated the baby to be just under 7lbs now and said she'd be surprised if the baby ended up being over 7 lbs 8 oz.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up that labor is near though. It seems like cervical checks aren't that reliable. There is a lady in my DDC whos been dilated to 5cm for a MONTH! And she'd done just about all the tricks you can think of to induce labor and nada.

Yes! I have the hospital bag and the car seat in the car. I've been really crampy this AM...maybe it is the start of something??

On a side note, we're supposed to get 20 inches of now Fri into Sat...hopefully she doesnt try to come then! I live an hr from the hospital in no traffic/good weather. There is a closer hospitals, just not ones that cover me...so hopefully I won't have to make any emergency visits.

I just noticed your ticker yesterday and was thinking "she's about to go!" Can you believe it?

And what the heck is a favorable pelvis?? Definitely sounds like a good thing.
