I've become a Craigslist fanatic. So much so, that I had to get my frugal husband to talk me off the ledge when I wanted to buy a used carseat. Anyhow, there is this stroller I've really been wanting. I've done tons of research to find the perfect double stroller. I found it, but it retails at $230. That's not crazy expensive, but I'm really trying to watch my spending. I found it last week on craigslist, and picked it up yesterday for $165!!! Some chick was trying to buy it out from under me, but thankfully she no-showed to pick it up!!! I'm so excited about my great deal. All that's left is to buy Eli's dresser and chest (which we'll do next weekend at Ikea), and a new carseat.

In Drake news, I took him back to the pediatric gastroenterologist today at his pediatricians request. He weighs a whopping 16 pounds, 15 ounces at 13 months. The GI doc and the dietician both agreed with my opinion- that Drake is simply small like his parents. He is WIDE open all day, and has little fat rolls on his arms. Plus a little Budda belly. He doesn't look scary skinny or unhealthy, but the scales are concerning. They gave me suggestions on how to add extra calories to his diet.
They did draw blood to rule out Celiac disease, because that's the only thing left it could really be. My little guy was a trooper though! He quit crying as soon as they popped off the tourniquet. The nurses were excellent, fast, and got it with one stick. It wasn't as hard on me as I thought it would be, maybe because I stick kids myself all the time. In a sick and twisted way, I'm kinda used to being the one who does "mean" things to kiddos, so I think I'm desensitized. In any case, I'm so happy that's over, because it's never to easy to see your baby cry. I'm just happy he was back to his happy self immediately after.
