I need a really cheap flight for Kyle and I from either Spokane WA or Seattle WA to San Diego from June 11-June 19!! Last year when we went it was only $400 round trip for both of us!! Now I can only find it for $550 or above!! I was hoping to be able to find it for around the same price!!! It is going to be a expensive trip for us, so I was hoping to save on air fare!!!

Whenever I book a flight, I always check the airlines directly. The places like expedia, kayak, etc. aren't always the cheapest I've found.

I like to keep track of flights using bing.com because it keeps track of the price trend to let you know if you should wait or buy now.

I wouldn't lose hope yet that you won't be able to get low airfare. Currently the lowest price I am seeing is $239/person but at least the prices aren't on an upward trend. Just keep watching. You never know.

ETA: Also with the way flight baggage costs are these days keep that in mind. Just because a flight is more expensive on one airline vs another, it may be cheaper in the long run if you plan on checking baggage (ex. southwest has free baggage whereas US Airways charges $25 for the first bag).

ETAx2: Actually check southwest.com! As long as you aren't worried about getting a refund there are quite a few choices for less than $150/person! Good luck finding what you need.

^^there you go! OR I just wanted to see...I THINK amtrack goes that way! A nice train ride would be cheaper and more romantic than a car.

I agree with checking southwest or amtrak. I do think that the car ride or amtrak will be a great way to get your bonds on. I know I just go to sleep on airplanes lol. Well I go to sleep on car rides too lol. I'm a horrible traveling partner.

But southwest does seem to be the cheapest airline out there..
