I've been a scrooge about it. Not sure why. I guess I'm just kinda sick of it all. It's ALL over the place.

It was super cool to see the torch go by our house though! I think I'll watch a bit I'm sure curtis will love to see it!

We might go and see some stuff in person (no events obviously but just stuff)

DF and I went to watch the torch run through our town on Monday. It was pretty cool. And my cousin Julie gets to be torch bearer tomorrow (morning sometime I think) so that's pretty cool. It's crazy, the weather here is so not what I would think of as ideal for a city hosting the winter olympics. ah well, I'll take the beautiful weather anyday. plus, pretty weather makes people here for the olympics see the real beauty of Vancouver.

I feel like it would be an honor to be able to attend. But I can see how Vancouver 2010 would be nuts after a while.

I love the Olympics. All the work that people put into competing and the pride they all feel for competing for their country. It's always a privilege for them to compete and represent their country, it makes it a lot more fun to watch than a bunch of overpaid grownups playing for millions. (Not that they don't make big $$$ afterward if they do well, hehe).

We of course are big hockey fans so look forward to watching that...and CURLING!!! Love love LOVE curling, in fact I got hooked during the last winter Olympics. So I can't wait for that to start and it's the kind of sport there is almost ALWAYS an event going on the entire 2 weeks.

I'm not a huge fan of the winter olympics but I'll probably watch here and there when there's nothing else on.
