That you can't have sex until 2 weeks after a miscarriage?
I find this rule kind of unfair!

I've never heard that before.

I've heard you are most fertile after a miscarriage and that your body wont get pregnant again if it isn't ready to yet.

I would think that as long as you aren't still bleeding or crampy you would be good to go.

I haven't heard that. I believe you just wait till you are done bleeding, for infection reasons.

I remember discussing with my doctor about TTC again after my last m/c. He advised waiting a full cycle after only so that you have a normal period to use for dating purposes. I asked if it was medically necessary and he said it was not. We tried, but didn't conceive right away, had one period and then tried and had success.

He was surprised and didn't think my period was really that so i got an early ultra sound.... which would have happened if I got pregnant right away.... and that is SO awesome hahaha. So ...

Do it

I've never heard that. We went right back to DTD after the bleeding went away. My doctor suggested waiting 3 cycles before TTC again but we didn't go with her advice and it ended up working out really well for us

wierd i have no idea where i got that bit of advice from!! lets just say i'm glad that its not true! lol

though i will not be making any extra efforts to ttc this month (ie instead cup, like last time which resulted in pregnancy) cause i would love to wait a month before getting pregnant. my poor sweet uterus would love a break.

I also wanted to add that I am in the "waited one cycle and got PG again" club too.
