it's not medicine but having a fresh bottle of organic olive oil is awesome for putting on a baby after a bath. put like a quarter size amount in your hands and rub together to warm it up then put all over a damp baby! delicious!

Infant Motrin is a possibility, many moms find it is better for teething pain than Tylenol. Also teething gel, either the natural kind or Orajel.
You also need one of those nasal aspirators, I know that's not a medicine but it's health related. Oh and saline drops as well. I liked the kind that was the spray rather than the drops.

I don't have anything other than saline drops. I tend to buy medicine on an as needed basis. I have several nasal aspirators though, we're always losing those. And a thermometer--we have the temporal artery kind, love it!

You have it covered.
In the house we have:
Nasal Aspirator, Thermometer, Vaseline, Tylenol, Motrin, Gas drops, Gripe Water, Hylands Teething Tablets, Hylands Ear Drops and infant simply saline. And of course Bourdeuxs buttpaste.
We also have a few Q-Tips at the changing table to get out boogies from his nose. (Never use in his ears, we let the ped clean out his ears with a special tool)

I just had/have baby panadol. I didn't initially buy gripe water. I bought it when Amara was gassy it didn't work for her so I tossed it.
I don't know if you consider this to be medicine but I kept saline drops which helped with clearing her nose when she was congested those first few weeks after birth.

In the house we have:
Nasal Aspirator (I mainly use q-tips instead though), Thermometer, Gripe Water (haven't needed since 3 months), Hylands Teething Tablets, Hylands Ear Drops (haven't used yet), infant simply saline, Rescue Remedy for kids and some essential oils and olive oil (that we had for troy and I anyway-lavender and eucalyptus). I had some tylenol but it was a recalled one and we never used it so I didn't bother buying a new one. Not sure if you count as medicine but I LOVE my Earth Mama Angel Baby Bottom Balm (I use it for nicks/scratches/burns/red spots, you name it!, If we ever got diaper rash I would use it for that also.)
Since we are BFing and MY vit D is low I take extra Vit D. I also do extra Vit C if I feel like I'm getting under the weather, plus my probiotics.

I concur to the list above
I think in the very beginning youll be set with just saline drops. Little noses (tummys, ears, eyes, etc) brand makes the best Ive ever used. Even used it on my self. Gripe water is really only needed for hella gassy babies, that usually a little bit of peppermint oil in water can fix first (more natural anyways ) And I agree with Sam, motrin works better than tylenol but your Pedi will ask you to use tylenol as motrin is a big stronger.

If you or your DH has eczema in the family, I'd suggest a big tub of Cetaphil.. Works great on dry skin..
You'll find if your baby truly has eczema, Aveeno and all those fancy baby lotions don't help at all.. It actually makes it worse.. Save your money and get Cetaphil or Vanicream..

I used Cetaphil for my girls' eczema, Mylicon for gas, and infant Tylenol for anything that causes discomfort. I also had baby orajel which is helpful when they're teething. Hyland's Teething Tablets are great too. I used them for Taylor

Oh I second Vanicream for eczema! I think we finally have Matthew's cleared up from using a steroid cream and now I'm able to just keep his skin moisturized with the Vanicream and so far it hasn't come back. I've used it on my eczema as well when mine got really bad.
