there you have it - how much does a dry prefold cloth diaper weight? How many prefolds would make a 1/2lb of fabric? LOL I even googled this and I cant figure it out!!!

i just looked all over for my kitchen scale and it is MIA!
When i find it i will weigh some for u!

I was able to dye 3 prefolds (infant/small size) and 2 onesies without splotchy-ness. So I guess about 4 PF's max if they are decent quality. Most of them a 4x8x4 ply so they have A LOT of fabric per diaper!

these are gerber and Im doing 2 prefolds and a onsie, so then it shouldnt be a problem!! yay!!

Yea, I was able to do more Gerbers because they are so thin. I dyed like 6 burp cloths at a time.
