What different foods does your LO (for those eating solids) usually eat? I'm hoping to come up with some new things to try. I feel like I'm always repeating the same things every couple days.

Breakfast?

Lunch?

Snacks?

very thin pasta (they make a fideo noodle but I can't find it anymore so I use angel hair and break it up in to 1" pieces)
put a tad of oil (we use canola) in a frying pan to brown up some of the noodles and then add in 1 to 1.5 cans of tomato sauce and about 2 cans of water(to taste really, more tomatoy or less) then add spices like onion powder, chilie powder, garlic powder and i will usually add some chopped onions (I think tomato chuncks could be added too but i can't eat them). put a lid on it and on low heat till the noddles soak up most of the sauce and are soft
My mom learned it when she was younger (born and raised in socal) and I've tweeked it to our liking

heres a different recipie i found, you can make it alot of different ways

These are the things I can get him to eat usually.

Breakfast:
Oatmeal with blueberries in it.
Scrambled egg with cheese mixed in
Toast or english muffin
Cherrio's (sometimes in milk)

Lunch:
PB Sandwhich
Pizza
Mac and Cheese
Cottage Cheese
Chicken Noodle Soup
Creamy Eggnoodles with Mixed Veggies
Black beans, rice, cheese, and sourcream
Other random homeade soup
Grilled cheese

Snacks:
Different crackers
Cherrio's
Graham cracker sticks
Cheese
Peaches
Blueberries
Banana
Grape tomatoes
Yogart
Fruit Puree Squeeze things
Cheese Puffs
Veggie Puffs
Soft prezel stuffed with cheese or tomato sauce
Other berries or fruit
Applesauce
Cottagecheese

A lot of the above he will eat one day and then won't eat it for a long time. He won't eat the same thing a couple days in a row. He likes changes but then again he is picky too. LIke he will eat oatmeal for breakfast one morning but then won't eat it the next two days.

That sounds good and like something he would eat on occasion. I'm going to check out the recipe link. I never heard of it before.

Let me start by saying that I have a super picky eater. She used to eat really well but now, it's a task to get her to eat more than 2 or 3 bites of anything except fruit. This is what she's been eating as of late. I didn't bother to add other things that she was eating before.

Breakfast? Cheerios, Cheese, Toast, Fruit (strawberries, orange, pear, grapes, applesauce, etc.), 2-3 pieces of scrambled eggs, bakes (local dish)

Lunch? Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese w/ veggies, Rice w/veggies, Fish Cakes (local dish), Vegetables (brocolli, carrots, peas), Fruit

Snacks? Puffs (banana, sweet potato), Cheerios, Whole wheat crackers, Applesauce, ginger cookies.

She likes yogurt but can't have it due to the cow's milk allergy. I'm trying to find goat's milk yogurt or another alternative.

Great post as next week we are starting to introduce solids. We're going startwith letting her try what we're eating. I don't want to have to make special food for her. So hopefully it works out. I love most of the foods everyone posted. My issue OS dh. He doesn't way veggies or fruit but has agreed that when we move he will try some veggies and fruits. So I'm introducing some foods to him along with my DD. LOL. His crazy mom screwed him up as a child and now I'm trying to fix him. LOL. It would be nice if we could all eat together. I'm a big veggie and fruit eater and could do without a lot of meats. Dh is the opposite. I don't want Alexa to eat like him.

Food is not going well in our house, surprise right? This kid wont stay still long enough to eat and when she does she eats like a bird.

B- Pancakes ( Im lucky if she eats 2, there the mini size ) Turkey, Sausage, Cereal Bars, Strawberries, BlueBerries, Banana's, Cheerios, I try eggs with cheese but she rarely eats them.

L- Hot Dog's, Mac and Cheese, Pasta, Noodles, Fruit, Cheese, Sandwich meats, Chicken, Apples, Pears, Peaches, Oranges...

D- Speghtti, Loves Peas and Corn, Rice, Fish, Hamburger and turkey meat,

I try and cut back on snacks so she'll eat more food at her meals. I do give her Puff's, fruit, Cheerios,Cheese, Oranges, Gram crackers..

I'm taking notes, since I'm introducing one food at a time it feels like it is taking forever to expand Matthew's diet. So far the only finger food he eats is Cheerios. Everything else is purees or stuff I've mashed up to spoon feed.

Will he eat avocado? Those have lots of good fats in them.

Amara used to love avocado. It's seasonal here so she hasn't had it in a few months.

Hopefully he will like it. Amara like hers slightly chilled.

Oliver has never been a fan of avocados. It's too bad because we almost always have them in the house for Damon's salad. I can't eat them because they make my stomach hurt bad.

Oliver eats like a bird too. It's usually only a few bites and then he is done.
