to tell you what else happened at BRU this weekend! We were looking at the little baby swings with the feeding trays on them. (Like this if you don't know what I'm talking about : Toysrus)
Anyway, some were just flat trays, and some of them had little circular indentions on them. I looked at DH and said in my best know-it-all voice pointing at the trays, "What the heck do babies need cup holders for??! That's stupid." DH just looked at me and busted out laughing. Apparently they are baby food jar holders... that makes more sense. My *massive* amount of baby knowledge and experience is scary, isn't it?

I didn't know they were baby food jar holders either! I don't think I've ever fed a kid in a swing and I've fed many many children (my Mom had an in home daycare for years and I was a nanny for a while).

That's what DH said when he was teasing me!
It is good to know that there are experienced mommies out there that did not know this... I'm going to have to tell DH! He sounded so high and mighty when he told me they were for baby food.

I thought they were for bottles/cup holders but thinking about it. If my baby is in a swing, she's probably an infant or cant really reach for/grab the bottle or cup and would probably just be fussy b/c she's sitting in front of her is her bottle and she cant even get to it. Man that sounds like baby cruelty/torture!
I guess if you didnt have a high chair or bumbo and the swing was all one had, then it would make sense to feed the baby from the swing.
