are not appreciated by my DH.....ugggh....he doesn't get it...why I love them....and I am obsessed lately with shoes for little ones. All kinds like Riley Roos, Robeez, Lelli Kelly, Pipsqueaks...etc. Does anyone else have baby shoes (or kid shoes), or would you get these kinds of shoes, for you little ones that are way too expensive for real life but totally necessary for cuteness
Nora has some Robeez and I just bought her some Riley Roos for when she starts walking....and I want to get every little girl I know a pair of Lelli Kelly's...they are freakin' adorable!

Um I'm SUPER duper lucky that hubby will pay top dollar for anything if I want it (as long as we have the money lol) He thinks, just cause it's cheap does not mean it's good. He would much rather buy the "right" shoes and clothes... lol. We don't always obviously but money wouldn't stop him and he understands.
Your hubby has got to get it together!! SHEESH! hahahaha jk

I'm not a shoe person, I hate wearing them so because of that my kids dont have many. Seamus has 1 pair(that fit but tons that he's out grown if any younger boys need shoes), Kieran has 2 that kinda fit but are too big, I bought one pair of Shooshoo's when they had their clearance a couple weeks back ($7.95) and one pair of Shooshoos that I won, we've bought her a pair of boots at a consignment sale but they never fit her and I got a pair at my baby shower but they were for summer and never fit(too big). I'm lucky to spend $30 every 5 or so years on my own shoes and with the kids growing so fast(and Kieran not wearing hard soles) I can't bring myself to buy expensive shoes.
dh would freak if I asked to spend $20-30 on baby shoes (Seamus' cost that much 1-2x's a year depending on how fast his feet grow luckily its fairly slowly) I know cause I asked ones and boy did I "get it"

Ya, the thing is that we don't have lots... like for shoes. They have 1 pair each that fit them. The ones they have now aren't all that "expensive" but aren't terribly cheap either. I'm more into quality versus quantity. Not that cheap means poor quality... but ya know what I mean lol!!

Cambria had 3 pairs of robeez and they never fit her! I usually buy her shoes at payless, target, or gap. I do love the Lili Kellie's though. When I was working we sold them and I always wanted to get her a pair, I think they start at 's though and Cambria is still a 4.

I'm not a shoe person but when Chris was a baby I wanted to get all kinda of them cute expensive shoes but DH wouldn't let me get, said he's too young for shoes let alone ones that cost a lot. Now he only has three pairs of shoes, some Adidas, some snow shoes and old sandals. We will be going shopping for more soon though once spring comes!

We get Mia expensive shoes because we have too, not because I want too. I spend around $40 a pop on her shoes because she needs very supportive heals and the cheap shoes here dont have that.

I love the more pricy brands. My favorite boy shoes are See Kai Run. They are soo stinkin cute! I'm going to get him a pair of the sandals for summer. His first shoe was Pedi Ped and they have very cute flexible shoes too. Both brands run around $40. I have gotten him a pair from Target too. We can't afford the expensive brands all the time but once in awhile we can splurge on them.

I love Robeez but I couldn't get any here that would have fit Amara. I do look at loads of shoes but I don't think it wise to buy her too many at this stage. Right now she's wearing a pair of Laura Ashley sandals (not sure what you call them in the US/UK/Canada) and a pair of Keds. The LA shoes costed BD$45 (approx. U$22.50) and the Keds were about BD$50 (approx. U$ 25). My MIL bought the Keds. I was very unsure about them because they just seem so heavy for a little child's foot but Amara has been wearing them without issue so I guess they're OK.
Here, every thing is way pricier that you would get it in the US.

The first thing that springs to mind is, how do you know what size she will be when she starts walking?! How do you know these will fit her?
Kirsty had soft leather shoes from 0-6m and 6-12m then I had her feet measured and she has "proper" shoes now that she is walking.

I bought a pain of See Kai Run shoes for Jenna. They won't fit her for many months, but they were sooo pretty. They were a dark brown leather with a dainty pink cherry blossom flower pattern up the front.
My DH is very modest with spending money and HE would never buy them. But I will!

I'm not a big shoe person, definitely wont spend $40 on shoes for a baby that cant walk lol. If I do they'll be universal and the only shoe that she'll wear until she outgrows them lol.
Once she starts to walk, thats a different story.

Fi...you are right - I have no idea if these shoes will actually fit...I guess that's why DH thinks I'm crazy - but I did get them half off $21 bucks so that makes it better - right HA! These are the ones I got (Dakota's) Baby Shoes from Rileyroos - I got them in the 12-18 mo. size so I figure these soft flexy shoes fit almost all babies right. She may even still be crawling and then it would matter even less.....Her Robeez have fit great so I was going off of that.....let's hope!
I'm glad I'm not alone in my quest for outrageous baby shoes - and I agree sometimes you pay for what you get....and these are great shoes!
I gotta check out the See Kai Run shoes.....off to look!
When she's more like 2 or 3 I'll get her the real bangers like Lelli Kelly - they are like $60-$70 (and DH will just have to like it!)

I LOVE See Kai Run shoes.. My DH doesn't mind me buying them, even though they are $40 a pair.. With my DD she's picky on what shoes she wants to wear, so I don't buy that much now..
