Maternity pictures!! Those of you who've had professional ones done in the past I'd love to see some  I've been looking into photographers and plan to get mine done soon. I love looking at ideas 
Also if you could tell me how far along you were and how much you paid for them i'd appreciate it. It seems like some photographers charge so much!!

I had a friend of mine come out to my house when I was 34 weeks along, and took em in the back yard. She has a Canon Rebel XS my dream camera  And she took em and did photo editing.

Um my are a bit more riskier... lol. I got mine done by James' birth mom who is a professional photographer. We didn't need to pay anything obviously but she did a great job. This is a link to my album.

Just ignore the video on the end That was a video James did for his mom... they were still just contacting each other through phone and e-mail and since it was late at night couldn't visit her yet... so we sent her a video

My friend is a professional photographer and she recommended we do mine around the 34 week mark because when you get towards the very end, I guess the bellies will show more veins that are more difficult to photoshop.

I love seeing the maternity prof shoots! And I'm sure yours will end up beautiful Krista....I however felt no compulsion to have my huge belly captured in forever photos to be displayed or whatnot....pregnancy is not my thing I guess....I did take belly shots for the kids scrap books and that's it!

Never got any done, since I generally look the same not pregnant because I carry all my fat in my belly.
But I love seeing others

Mom to Seamus (7.18.06) and Kieran 4.8.09). Seamus has Aspergers, SPD, Lazy Eye and is also Color Deficient/Blind, basically he doesnt' see green or red. I'm still learning more but feel free to ask me about it if you have any questions!

my SIL got hers done at a place in the mall and they were BEAUTIFUL.
I wish i had some on the computer to show you! She modelled before so i am sure that helped but the photographer did great things.

My highschool friend is doing mine for $20 once I get around 32-34 weeks! I remember Breanna had beautiful maternity pics too! As did Kyle too I think!

I have a cousin who is a professional photographer who will be taking them!! She recommends anytime from 6-8 months.. I will probably wait to do mine closer to 8 months so my belly is a tad larger!! She chargers $155 for a maternity session and it also includes one newborn session!!! I am sure I won't have to pay the full $155 but we haven't discussed that yet!!!

I wanted to get some done but didn't because the cost. We ended up choosing newborn photos over maternity. I might get them done next time around but not showing my bare tummy because I have so many stretch marks from Oliver.

A guy my family knows is a professional photographer and says he'll do it for $75 for a full CD and he'll do touchups free of cost. We're going to view his portfolio and see how we like his style but that would be an excellent deal! AND... his wife told me she's giving me a certificate for a free newborn session at my baby shower (i'm still supposed to act surprised- lol) I really hope we like his work though because it doesn't get much better than that!

I love looking at them. Wish I'd had them done. Maybe I will for the next baby that way they get something special. Usually 2nd child gets more overlooked, hehe.
