This board is the same way, it has gravitational pull. 
First, I would like to apologize for having a hissy fit last week. Yes, I was upset and still feel like it was ok for me to be upset, but I could have pulled up my big girl panties and gotten over it without making a scene. So for that, I sincerely apologize.
Also, I was driving behind a car (on my way from Texas to Little Rock where I know live - HUZZAH!) and they had a bumper sticker which said, "Be the change you want to see in the world." Now, I realize this is not a new concept and we've all heard it before but it's good to be reminded every once in a while. So with that in mind, I'm going to try and be a much better WTTC Grads member instead of pointing out how everyone else is lacking (which wasn't cool and was unfair).
I did miss you girls! And Little Rock is sooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo oooooooooooooooo much better than San Antonio so maybe that will help me chill out a little more.

We do know several people from Lee's flight school that are currently here or will be here shortly, so that's awesome. We'll only be here about six to eight months but I'm definitely looking forward to spring and summer in Little Rock - there is so much more beautiful landscape and GREEN all around. Oh, how I missed green things in Texas, it was the land of dirt and scrub brush - blech!

I take it that you're a country girl? You enjoy scenery and peace better than busy and noisy cities?

Nope, grew up in Chicago, worked/lived in Indy for three years and then worked/lived in Charlotte for five years. I definitely like living close to big city amenities but I couldn't stand the absolute drabness of San Antonio. Plus, the people were rude, the city was filthy and no one knew how to drive. I did, however, LOVE Austin but it's a totally different kind of city from San Antonio.

I've liked San Antonio as far as short vacationy type stuff but of course no idea what it's like to live there. I love Austin as well, kind of wish we were there even though it's further from family.

I'm glad you are enjoying Little Rock... my mom doesn't live too far away from there! It is pretty around there.
