When did this happen (if it has) with your LO? Jack's is right now. Makes me feel sooo special when he cries when DH leaves, or lunges at him if I am holding him. And if I try to take him from his daddy he gives me the cold shoulder, and thinks it is funny to boot!

Seamus has always been more of a daddy kid. Kieran will at times prefer daddy and gets excited when he gets home but generally wants me

Oliver has gone through this a few times. He was just on a huge daddy kick but needed me in site or he would get upset.

Once Matthew sees his dad come home from work he whines and cries until David holds him. Then Dh has to hold him or play with him at least 15 minutes or so or he gets upset. It is tragic if Dh walks away for a minute to like, wash his hands or whatever. But after the 15 minutes or so, he can put him down and it's cool.

So yeah he loves his daddy but I think it's partly because he isn't around as much. He gets mommy all the time. He still wants me a lot though so I'm okay with it.

Yeah, Taylor is very much like this LoL. She goes through fazes but both would rather be with me most of the time which, when I need to get something done, isn't always the most ideal LoL, but I'll take it

Landen has always wanted me over daddy but I think that's because he hasen't always been around. But he has told Chris that he loves him but not me . Its like I held you in my belly for 8 1/2 months, I took care of you by myself for the past year and fed you from my very own boobies and you tell datdat that you love him and not meeeeeeee???

He's always gotten excited to see his daddy.

But right before DH left on his business trip, Henry wanted to be with his daddy every chance he could. I was adequate until dad entered the room. That was at 9 months.

I really wonder how he will be when his daddy comes home tomorrow from his 2 week trip.

Amara's primarily a mommy's girl but on occasion she wants to be with her daddy. She does try to run to him on mornings when I'm trying to get her to come for her bath.

Xander will get really excited when Jer comes home for lunch or at the end of the day, but other than those few minutes he doesn't seem to have a preference. I think he just likes seeing someone new when he's been staring at my face all day.

I know my little girl will be like this. She already quiets more quickly for him. At first I was irritated...I mean, I'm sure her all day. I feed her, change her, play with her, yet she responds more to him! But I think it is special now and know she loves me too

Does Jack say Dada? If so, did it come before Mama?

Yeah he says dada all the time. He started saying it around the same time he said mama. He is still doing it today so I would say for sure he has a lot of sass. It is sweet, but COME ON! He does call for mama when he wakes up from a nap though, or is hungry. Typical, lol
