Ok so last week forgive me, even I didnt take a belly shot LOL

Sunday came, and we were getting ready to leave for the beach. I was in teh shower shaving my legs and I put my foot up on the tub, and bent over to shave. I was JUST thinking I hope I dont get a charlie horse in my tummy!!! nope...my back went out on me!!! I had to brace myself to keep myself from falling (Im still all soapy) and I start to black out, so I yelled for Jay and he got me out. The pain was more intense then Ive ever felt. EVER. Id take back labor over this crap. A disc must have slipped out and grabbed a nerve as it went back in. I was in so much pain, I was paralyzed. I couldnt even pee without taking 20 minutes to figure out how to get off the bed (I had spent 2 hours after the shower trying to figure out how to get on the bed...THAT was fun...)

So here Ive been, and I apologize!!! between my percs (dont start vicodin and tylenol sucked!!) making me sleepy and my kids putting 13 blankets on me, Ive been sleeping in my recliner whenever I can. Its impossible at this moment to get in and out of bed, or off the floor (or hell of the couch!!!) Because my recliner can rock forward pretty far to help me stabilize my back. I went into the ER yesterday and I had to convice like 13 people that I wasnt having back labor I cant walk for more than a few feet, and I have to be on pain meds to do so....

SO...Im dead....Im sorry At least while on pain meds I can drive short distances. Before the ER that was impossible! Anywho, Ill start a belly thread when I get home from feeding the horses

Yikes! Feel better soon, Beth! I hope its just muscular... and that it will heal up on its own. I know it sucks though. I had to drive DH to the ER once for that. It took him a week or two to get back on his feet. Thinking of you!

Beth - you freakin' crack me up - I can just see you rolling around on the floor and your kids throwing blankets on your sweet little baby flipping around in there on the percs! Take care of yourself girl!

Oh that sounds awful! Get someone else to feed those horses woman! (I almost typed whorses I don't know where that came from... tangent, sorry.) I hope it passes quickly. What awful timing; no one needs back problems period, much less while pregnant!

And why do back issues always come with a crappy injury story, it is always something so small like twisting just a little wrong way while reaching for a book or something! I'm just saying, if you have to go through all this pain you need a good story. I'd make one up! From here on out, you fell off a stunt horse doing... stunt things... I don't know you have to fill in the blanks, I don't know what horses do as stunts. Sell it woman!

Well since el pregnato ladies can have Xray's or CT scans their guess is as good as mine! Pretty much agree'd with me, a blown disc (I doubt cuz I can walk sorta...) or a pinched nerve, or like Alice said, a VERYYY badly pulled muscle. Seeing as its now on one side, Im leaning twards a pinched nerve. My midwife called me back and told me of a pregnancy and after chiropractic clinic (they only deal with pregnancy, post partum, infants and children...cool hu??) And get an appt with them ASAP as she understand why Im taking the percs, but doesnt encourage it (hell I dont either but anything I can do to help me walk right?!) So Ill give them a call tomorrow.

As for stunts off horses, there is such thing called vaulting. Its gymnastics on horseback!! Its really cool but hella hard to do!! Here's a youtube for ya, Krista!

YouTube - vaulting, gymnastics on horseback

Its fun *giggles*

So yeah I shaved my legs pregnant and threw my back out. Yay go me

but the hair...at the beach....it will just be scary

Yeah Im going to call the chiropractor here in a bit, and ask if they even work with my insurance (with my luck, probably not but well see) And Ill ask them about acupuncture. I know it works in horses, so of course it works in humans!!!
