Today I had my 38/39 week appointment. I still feel absolutely miserable but I know this can't go on much longer so I'm hanging in there. Everything is absolutely great with the baby--still head down!!! Also, I caved and asked for a cervical check today. I'm 3cm and 50% effaced and baby is low, my midwife could feel her head right there! I know this doesn't "really" mean anything but at least I know things are cooking and all these contractions aren't for nothing so that at least has improved my mental state. Oddly enough I lost 3 lbs since last week, who knows how the heck that happened, so I'm back down to a total 11 lb gain for this pregnancy. Here's hoping she comes out sooner rather than later!

Yay for head down

I think that's great progression. I know it may not mean anything about timing but it's great anyways! Your body IS doing all that work for something

Your doing great! Now hurry on out little lady!

Come on our baby! Sounds like it will be soon, but I guess you never know. Do you think it will be a quick labor?

I hope it'll be soon!

I don't think it'll be a long labor. My longest was Liam's and that was 6 hours 49 minutes. Loch's was 6 hours 20 minutes. So if I had to guess, probably around 6 hours. Plenty of time to make it to the birth center and not deliver in the car en route (we're an hour and 15 minutes away with no traffic)! But we'll see.
