I believe Charlotte is DH's fav... then again he came up with it! Actually that is the only one on the list he came up with, and he is quite proud.

Now that people have voted, I'll go ahead and throw in what I have always thought... My personal top three were Charlotte, Dahlia, and Alana, in that order. I agree with whoever said that Charlotte is classic whereas Jaelynn is not, so I didn't think it would go, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many people thought otherwise! We were going to go with Alana for that reason, but now I'm thinking twice, especially because DH had to "warm up to it".... he didn't like Alana at first. That and I am more for classic names (I think Alana is the only one on the list that isn't a classic name). As far as Dahlia is concerned, I really love it and love how unique yet familiar it is, but I know our boy name will start with a D, and what if we have a boy next, then the next child after that doesn't get a D name and gets left out. I know, silly. If we don't use Dahlia this time, it will definitely be in the running next time.

It is funny that some of you said that Charlotte fits us because it is both mine and DH's top pick! And I'm truly surprised that it took until what, post 20, for someone to mention a talking spider.

Anyway, thank you for all of your input! It has definitely made me rethink things a bit... like I said, we were going to go with Alana because of the flow with the middle name even though it wasn't our fav, but now we shall see!

I really like the names you have picked but I voted for Alana. I love that name and it was very high on our list for Lila. I also think it goes well with your middle name. But I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, just choose what you love best and you can't go wrong.

I chose Alana...definitely. It sounds the best with Jaelynn (in my opinion) and I really like the name!

I really liked most of the names, but for some reason I am partial to Scarlett.

What about Sharlene? Kind of a cross between Charlotte and Scarlett. I still like Charlotte better just throwing out another name just because.

This totally reminds me of that country song "John Deere Green":

On a hot summer night
He wrote Billy Bob loves Sharlene
In letters 3 foot high
And the whole town said that he should have used red
But it looked good to Sharlene
In John Deere green

No Sharlene....HA ha ha... good try Shannon but it does sound like a country song - no offsense to all the Sharlene's out there reading this HA!

Alana is cute and pretty and does go good with Jaelynn (but I like Charlotte and since I can't have any more babies to use it on someone here has to!!!) ....Harrison's first girlfriend is named Alana.....I don't know if they are together anymore but they are still good friends HE HE HE...she'll be at his birthday party!

I'm not offended! I wouldn't use the name myself I just thought it sounded a little like Scarlet but not really iykwim. I had a supervisor named Sharlene so that probably "normalized" the name to me.

Dahlia is my vote. I used to like Charlotte but since sex in the city I can only think of that now, or the talking spider. My second vote would be for Lorelei!
