I was never a member, and never posted there, but does anyone know what happened to the "I want a baby but my partner doesn't" board? I know some of you ladies were members.

I was a member there a LONG time ago. I think there just weren't enough posters

Yeah they shut it down last week and just now deleted it. There was still a strong little group over there but there were only like two or three new posts every couple days. I still think they should have made it a sub-forum to something else instead of just doing away with it though!

I was a member of that board since I joined JM (before all of the drama between me and my baby's father).

And TBH I dont know what happened. I believe it was because there was no host there for so long. The host that we had there, didnt post much due to life issues and WITHOUT notice, got booted from being host.

It kind of became like WTTC and WTTCG where there was IWAB and IWABG in which most of us fell into that category and most of our postings were in the private forum. We asked for a sub-forum, but because we had no host (we were hoping that any one of the newbies in which the forum title actually pertained to would step-up but that never happened) our request didnt get made. As a result Rachel posted a post stating that the board was closing and even closed it after one of the members requested to become a host stating that if we wanted to, we could request another board. Its a weird situation as even I dont exactly know why it closed. We all still keep in touch via other means and facebook.

I know me too.. I know the main WTTC isn't very active so it makes me wonder if they would ever do away with it even though the grads are very active

Wow, I noticed it was gone too but I just figured it got moved or was board of the month..

I doubt that it'll happen over here. We still posted often, just in private (just like we post over her in WTTCG) we'd post on the main board whenever someone posted a topic or sometimes we started topics. It wasnt until we asked to get rid of the private forum (in hopes of having a clean slate for the newbies) that Rachel decided to delete the group.
