so I want to first off say, I've tried on dresses twice now and had two VERY different experiences. I did a quick trip to a local place today with my mom and aunt and left feeling SO frustrated and upset... not good. the woman was NO help, she brought dresses that were like 5 or 6 sizes too small (so they wouldn't even go over my boobs!) she didn't offer me any assistance getting into the dresses and she was just over all very unpleasant. so anyways, needless to say I didn't get a dress today BUT I did want to share the pics from my trip to Washington last week where I found a dress I love! but unfortunately my mom and dad are paying and they wanted to look around here too before we settle on a dress...
so here are pics of three dresses I tried on at David's Bridal (by the way, had a fantastic experience at David's Bridal, they were very helpful and kind).
dress #1:
dress #2:
dress #3:
sorry the pictures aren't very good. The fit wasn't the best on the dresses but you get the idea. My favorite is the first one. My mom liked the last 2 best. I did try on about 4 more dresses but they didn't make the cut. so no need to post pics of the ones I didn't like.
enjoy! and thanks for looking!

thanks ladies! I think the first and third are best so far as far as shape goes. the sweetheart neckline is very good for me, I tried a straight across one and it just made me look box like.

I like the last one the most, something about the train that stands out to me. And then the 1st one next.

i think might look good if it was done up properly with the right undergarments and such but I didn't have my best stuff on that day and the dress was the wrong size. It looks better in person. I don't mind it but like I said, the first is my fave so far but i likely wouldn't turn down the other two either

yeah the train is very pretty on that one, but since we're having an outdoor wedding I'll likely have the train pinned up anyways. but it is very pretty.

haha i noticed that too. I think that was the first time I had tried on that dress (tried two of them on twice) and since I don't like getting my picture taken I was kind of just like "grin and bear it" whenever my mom was taking pics LOL

I tried on the third one and I LOVED IT! I almost bought it and changed my mind at the last second which I am still regreting to this day, the reason I didn't get it was because of the outdoor reception and that long train. But back to your thread I like the first and third best!

I loooove the 2nd one! I just love the neck line and bust. 5 years ago when I was wedding shopping I spotted a dress similar to this, saw the price tag ($2900) and never tried it on. lol. To this day I daydream about that dress!
The first one would be my 2nd choice You have great options!

I like the 3rd best. The detailing is gorgeous on that one, and I think the waistline is very flattering on you.
But with that said, 1 is beautiful too and you should pick the one that feels most special.

I really like both the first and the third one! I don't know which one is prettier! You are going to look gorgeous either way though.
I can't believe you had such an awful experience at the local place. I'm sorry they ruined it for you, but at least you had lots of fun at Davids Bridal!
