Well I had my 39/40 week appointment today. Pretty uneventful. I am now 4cm dilated (didn't ask how effaced but at least 50% because that's what I was last week). What I'd like to know is what the heck is she waiting for!?!

Liam was almost 3 weeks early and Lochy was born on his due date. I've never gone past my due date and hoping I don't start now!

Wow thats crazy! Its like the more you have, the longer you go! but I'm hoping that she comes tomorrow or at least ON your due date at the latest.
I thought that they admit you when you're 4cm or over?

How long was you in labour with the boys for?

WOW 4cm??! You haven't been having contractions have you? I know you have been super uncomfortable, but I don't remember you saying anything about contractions.
That's awesome that you are already at 4. Hopefully she makes her appearance soon!

I got to 5 CM before I was admitted to the hospital! I hope she comes soon! Come on out here right this minute little lady! Can you get some booty or something to help things along?!

I've actually been having tons of contractions. But that's very normal for me, nothing noteworthy. I think things are brewing though--a little bit ago I lost huge globs of bloody mucous plug. I'm hoping she'll come very soon! I don't have anyone's contact info but I'll keep you all posted as well as possible. I only have to stay at the birth center 4 hours after delivery so I'll be home fairly soon after she's born.

Hopefully she is planning her entrance for soon. And wow you only have to stay for four hours???

I remember being in labor before the interventions, being in pain, and only being 2 cm dilated! I hope she shows soon!
