this seems like a good reason to get a repeat section. Educate me vag birth ladies!

I haven't had any issues with bladder control.

Speaking of which, over here basically every woman attends a postpartum gymnastics course with a midwife, to ummm, strengthen their pelvic floor muscles. When I heard this, I was quite appalled. I mean, I don't want to do anything with my pelvic floor in a room filled with other women! I was basically threatened with loss of bladder control if I didn't go, which I didn't.

I peed my pants while getting ready for Curtis' first birthday. It was really weird. I was shopping with my mom and MIL and all of a sudden I had to go to the bathroom, and then all of a sudden I didn't any more... so strange.

Anywho, that's the only issue I had. I don't pee with I laugh or anything like that. It's pretty normal down there, even after two kids. I'll let you know how three goes haha.

Not really... I mean, there are times when I have to go I HAVE to go but it's usually because I've held it for a while anyway LoL.

I would be so all over those pelvis gymnastics out of fear! lol

So far I am liking these answers. I am just wondering if when the time comes it is even a good idea to try for a vaginal birth. What if I end up getting a busted up vagina? I have heard some horror stories. Although having a scar across my pelvic area that still itches and hurts is no pic-nic either.

Honestly I'm scared to have a C section. I haven't ever had any ill affects from vaginal births. Recovery is SUPER quick too if you don't tear, if you do it's a bit tougher but nothing you can't handle. Things go back to normal pretty fast. With Dustin I was back having sex before the 6 weeks..... I didn't tear with him.

I am TERRIFIED to need a C-section. I had an episiotomy with my first and tore in 3 places with Rylie and Andy's says I'm TIGHTER and PREFERS sex with me now... weird LoL. We were back to having sex at 4 weeks both times with no pain at all. The pain was VERY minimal for me... I was squatting and playing on the floor of the hospital with Taylor not even 24 hours after having Rylie!

I am scared for a repeat section too. Both make me nervous for different reasons. The section b/c I know what I would be getting into. And it is surgery. Vaginal birth b/c I worry that my bladder might fall out, lol

Lisa haha that reminds me. I was sitting cross legged on my bed after having Dustin and my MIL was in quite shock haha. She asked if I could walk normally and sit haha. (she couldn't have children and adopted)

With Lily I pushed against an epidural and did have some bladder issues for about a week after delivery. Nothing major, though - more like I just needed to pee and a few drops dribbled out before I could get to the bathroom. Within a week that stopped happening, though. After Violet, no issues whatsoever.

Yeah I did have some issues for a few weeks. Like I'd go to pee and I'd go sit on the toilet and I would start peeing before I commanded my bladder to let loose! A few times I had a little leak out even before I got to the toilet but I had those jumbo pads on so it didn't matter. I am in awe of everyone DTD so early. I was still having bleeding 6 weeks PP! I think my body was making up for all those AFs I got to miss!

Last week I had no warning when I had to go - it was OMG HAVE TO PEE NOW. Now I am fine - I only had 1 full stitch though, I don't know if that makes a difference.

I've never had an issue with anything and I've had 3 vaginal births. The only time I've ever had a bladder issue is during this pregnancy and I peed my pants when I was puking a couple times but I had to go before that anyway.

I did have some issues right after birth with Kylie, but I had to have a catheter right before I started pushing to empty my bladder, and I think that's what caused it. And the only issue was that when I had to pee, I had to hurry because it was almost like my muscles to stop the flow weren't working well. But it went away after 4 weeks. I also healed up super fast despite an episiotomy, and DTD only 2 weeks after she was born. I'd prefer that over a csection any day! I would hate to have my stomach cut.

I just have BM movement issues. It's really painful to bare down when I need to go, even if it's just a soft one.

*And I only share that with you because I know you aren't grossed out
