I'm sorry I know miscarriage is a hard subject. I tried to google it, but didn't really get much so I thought I should ask.

I'm now on CD 9 and still bleeding and none of the days have even been spotting, it's all been full on bleeding. and cramps everyday. I was wondering, when you have a miscarriage, are the cramps different? I don't usually get a lot of period cramps so that's why I wonder. There have been days where I just feel like i want to curl up because the cramps are quite painful at times.

So if you don't mind, could you please share your insight?

oh and before you say it, I don't have my medical coverage up to date yet so I can't go to the doctor without having to pay and I don't really have the money for a DR visit right now.

It could be a bad period. Did you do some testings?

I have had a horrible bad, VERY extremely painful miscarriage. I have no idea how far along I was. I went into the ER due to pain and I was bleeding out of cycle, I found out then that I was mcing.

However the next mc I had wasn't really painful, some cramping here and there but not bad and I was very early on, I'm trying to remember but I think 6 or so weeks?

I hear it depends on how far along you are.. but then again I'm sure there are exceptions to that.

I'm sorry to hear your in pain

I didn't know that you have to pain if your medical isn't up to date. That really stinks. I hope you can figure something out. It's nice to have a family doctor to call on in times like this. We never had one until the boys came along and he sure has come in handy haha.

Vi - I'm sorry you're dealing with this that's making you wonder. I got a very very very faint positive test three months before I conceived Harrison.....and digital I took the day before I started my "period" said "not pregnant" so I don't know if I was actually ever pregnant or not but I had the worst period I've ever had that time...I usually have very light ones that don't last very long - but this one was bad...and I had cramps and I usually NEVER do/did.

I would say you'll find its all different for everyone....so without having ever gone to a doctor or taking a test..you may never know?

I wonder if it would be too late to take a test now... DF actually asked me about a week ago if I was pregnant. I would randomly want weird things. like i told him I wanted corn on the cob and a bottle of water LOL he looked at me like I had just told him I was from outer space.

were you late at all?

It sounds like just a bad period. I would cycle with those. I'd barely have a period one month, then a normal one the next, and then an EVIL one after that.

With my early m/c, I had clear positives on my tests and lots of symptoms including hunger and really sore and huge breasts. The tests turned negative the day i started bleeding. I had rythmic contractions. They felt similar to period cramps, but not quite the same. I didn't just bleed either, I passed large chunks of endometrial tissue, and blood clots. During the time i was passing tissue, I was trying to walk to a different part of the house and actually fell to my knees on the floor and was unable to keep walking because it was so painful.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time.

I didn't experience any cramping with my miscarriage. It was just lots of bleeding with clots. Sorry I'm not very helpful.

I had contrax with my miscarriage, though it did not complete at that time. Just went thru the rest of that mc and it was just crampy for two days then regular period like. If u r still bleeding u might still get pos on a pee stick if there is any tissue left. I had positives up until last week, so thru the entire mc.

Hope ur feeling better soon Hun!

I don't have any answers but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you are having to go through this. Cramps suck no matter what the cause.

thanks ladies. it seems to be getting better now. CD 10 now so hopefully it's almost over and was just a heavy period. at the end of last cycle i was thinking I might be preg. and of course the day I decided I wanted to pick up a test, I started spotting that night. spotted for 2 days then bleeding started on CD 52. so I'm assuming I was late, although I often have long cycles so I never know for sure. I think maybe it's just wishful thinking. not that I would miscarry but that I could actually GET pregnant, kwim?

I've always had bad periods, a lot of cramping, crying and wanting to just curl up in bed and not move an inch. When we had the early loss it was a hundred times worse. I was in so much pain I was throwing up and couldn't move at all. I hope you feel better soon!

Glad the cramps are better!

I don't remember having bad cramps during my m/c but i might have just forgotten.. I did bleed worse and longer than with a typical period.
