...for me to start my bcp's?! Seriously, this must be some sort of mental illness. I had my script filled at 6 wks pp, but then decided to just wait until AF showed up. Well, she showed last month and I didn't take them. Now she is back today, and I NEED to but don't WANT to.

We want another baby close to Jax, but wanted to wait until he is 9 mo old, which is only 3 months away. Plus, I really really would like a spring or summer baby. There is no reason for me not to. I don't have any 'reactions' to them, and charting would not be accurate since I am up and about at night.

I think I just am addicted to the thrill of any possible oops. Someone tell me to put my big girl panties on and get on with it!

I know what you mean. I didn't take BC but I always kept saying... well we want another baby close again anyway and what's a few months? LoL! We wanted a late fall/winter baby because it's tough running around outside with a toddler in the heat and having a newborn with you. By the time summer rolls around the baby will be around 7 months old and easier to take outside with the girls LoL. Hang in there, it's only a few more months to wait

I say if you don't want to take them, then don't! So long as your DH is on board with it that is.

If it was me, I'd probably hold off for the next few months.

hehe, just put those pills away for another year or so lol. I used to chart at all hours because of odd work schedule, and it worked fine.

arent u supposed to be off bcp for like 6 mos before ttc? i could totally be making this up but it sounds somewhat legit! use condoms for a few months and your body won't have to get rid of any extra hormones when the time to ttc comes

You gals are a BAD BAD influence, lol. I might just try to chart and see where that takes me. Alice, its good to know it still worked for you not having a consistent schedule. But then again, I hate charting

It's not really that I would mind having a Dec-Feb baby, its just that we live quite far from the hospital, and there is often several feet of snow on the ground during those months. I loved being due in November, and having an October baby is just perfect, but I'm too impatient to wait for those months!

I would say to take off your pull up and put on your panties... until you said that you guys plan on TTC in 3 months with Jax turns 9 months. BCP could possibly jack you up but then again who knows.

So yeah I'm of no help either lol. You could get a female condom tho.

you are crazy!! You want another at 9 months!? Crazy!

I dunno what to tell you. When Jack was Jax's age I entertained the idea of an oops. Not anymore! Sooooo, strike while the irons hot! Haha, we are all terrible.

I might be crazy. Who knows? Jaxon has been an incredibly easy baby, but I know that can change as he gets towards his toddler months. I can only be a SAHM for an absolute maximum of 2 yrs (1 yr if we don't have another). If we have a 2nd when Jax is 18 months... and thats a big if because we did not conceive right away the first time... then I would get to stay home with that LO until s/he is 6 months old and Jax is 2. If we had a bigger gap then I would have to go back to work at 8-12 weeks. I don't know... its so hard to tell what the right decision is.

All I can tell you is I have never regretted ONE min having my girls close together. It can be challenging some days but it's a beautiful thing to watch my girls together and you get past the sleepless nights A LOT quicker LoL!!!

I think it is one of those things you just know. My mom had my brother and I at 13 months apart. she "just knew" it would work, and it did. She said both of us were easy as pie. If Jaxon is easy now, I bet he still will be at 9 months If you think having them close in age will work well for you, I bet it will!

And oopsies are appealing in that you don't have to plan or think about it. It's like, meant to be, man lol. If Jack wasn't sleeping so horribly the last week or so, I wouldn't think having babies close in age is crazy at all I still say forget those pills!

Miki was a pretty easy baby too. Barely cried or fussed. She's still a pretty easy toddler she just TALKS A LOT!!!! If somebody else asks me "WHY" I might just commit myself. OMG that can drive someone crazy. IDK what I'm goign to do when Lani hits that age. Maybe send her to my mom for a few years lol j/k

We new we wanted another after Dustin, when he was around a year of age.. so I didn't go back on the pill at all, just used condoms. If your thinking of TTC in 4 months time I wouldn't personally go on any pills. But that's just me!

Nothing wrong with TTC at 9 months if it makes sense to you Crazy or not! haha. I get 0 sleep at night and I still have a baby on the way! haha

I'd skip the bc pills. You only have a few months until you ttc. I think having them close together will work out great.

I am going through the SAME thing. At first I said I wouldn't take bcp's because I was breastfeeding. Then I said I'd go on bcp's as soon as I got AF back, got AF back, and still didn't. Then I said as soon as I went back to work and was strictly formula feeding I'd go on bcp's, didn't do that either. And now we definitely were not careful this weekend and now I am wondering what I am thinking!? But I think if you want them close together, why not just not go on bcp's and use pull and pray until you're really ready to ttc.
