Yep kind of like shrimp, they are all shell fish, but they do have a bit of a different taste than shrimp..

I've only had crawfish in dishes (not eaten whole out of the shell). To me the texture if like lobster or crab. I think it's good!
It looks like Angela ate a ton! I know there isn't a whole lot of "meat" in each one though. I bet it was a lot of fun! Did London try any?

I always thought crawfish tasted closest to lobster. Not exactly, but that's probably the closest. They are kind of their own thing. SO yummy! I wish I lived where I could get them fresh! I can only get frozen.
Looks like you guys had a blast!

Nope not a whole lot of "meat" in them.. I only ate about half of what Angela ate! London didn't try any, the spices are too much for his tummy.. He had cheerios

I've never tried lobster so I can't really compare the two... Yeah frozen crawfish are not nearly as good..

That is one huge plate of food! I can't eat those things... There is something that freaks me out about eating something whole. I mean, I know you don't eat the shell, but you eat the entire animal, you know? I'm weird.

Aren't shellfish a no-no during pregnancy? I have been dying for shrimp, lobster and crab but I swear I read something that shellfish tend to have higher levels of mercury and lead or something.
It looks awesome anyway! But you can hide them in a gumbo or something if you want me to eat them!
