Name your baby a name that someone else on the board has already used???

I was thinking baby names today and a lot of names that I like are names girls on here have used!!

I think that since we all live so far apart it isn't really that big of a deal!!! I would be flattered if someone liked the name I chose enough to name there child that!!

What do you think??

Would you not name your baby something, because a girl on here is using/has used it??

no.....not to sound mean but what would it matter 3 years from now if someone on a message board used the same name as me? we might not all even be here by then.

I do love some of the names the mommas have used here.... Landon, Reid, Nora (was my girl name!) to name a few off the top of my head. nak

Yup! I really like Henry a lot. I also like Alice, which is not a baby's name on here just our Alice.

Michelle - there is a baby Alice - Lala Lauren's little bugga bugga!

I would totally use a name on the board that someone already had...that's why I didn't feel weird sharing my names choices or my final name .....kids all over the place have the same name as my kids....that's just how it is! I think I remember that Sarah (Jack and Emma's mom) was going to name Jack Eleanor and use Nora as a nn if Jack had been a girl...and we were due like just weeks apart - and that didn't bother me in the least!

My new Fav girl name though is Karridan!! Im not sure how I would spell it though!!

I like Nora too. Prob wouldn't use it though b/c I still hope to move to NC one day and make KEri hang out with me and then it would be weird to have 2 Noras around

YESSSSSSSSSSSS...as she throws a fist in the air! This makes me very happy.....I will have a friend and gosh darnit people like me....HE HE HE! And you would NOT have to make me hang out with you...it would be more like I'd be over at your house every weekend...knocking away and you'd be like hiding behind the coach telling the kids to be quiet and promising them treats if they don't make a sound or move or anything and me and my kids are like peering in all the windows like "their cars are here" and everything! HE HE HE....just kidding !

I think it would be fun to have two Nora's! My friend had Carrie as one of her name choices...and that wasn't weird.....

And wow my confidence is like really high right now because Morgs has my son's name on her list.....I feel like hmmm even if they turn out really wrong at least they have names that people actually like ....wow....*blush*

I would if Dh and I both loved the name. Sheesh it is so hard to pick out names that go with your last name, that you love, that your Dh loves, that no close family member has, etc, that if you find one that is great to you, you need to go with it! The only problem would be if the name had a strong enough connotation (like for example if I heard the name Jack and all I could picture is Michelle's Jack) then I wouldn't use it if I could visualize MY child being that name, if that makes sense.

I wouldn't mind someone using a name I had used, and I wouldn't mind using a name someone else has used if its something I really liked.

I would ONLY mind if that person was like right behind me in pregnancy, and I knew they stole my name as soon as I told you guys what the name was....does that make sence?

Jenn has Liam and that has been our boy's name since Seamus was born, I wouldn't change it just cause she has a Liam, its a name I love and will use if we have a nother boy

I would totally jack one of your guys' names haha. I might stray from it if too many people started using it, but that's only because I don't want names that are too too common.
