So Ive hit the part in my pregnancy where I just want to lounge around. Im exhausted just getting up and making lunch. Hubby is the main getter upper in our house (LOL is that even a word?) And it just helps me out SOO much. He does ANYTHING I ask him too. But recently his boss has been asking him to pull more 10am-7pm shifts on days that we dont have barn chores. I. Cant. Do. These. Shifts. I am exhausted just taking him to work (which most of you know he doesnt drive and that makes it a bit harder...which I dont mind because I actually like driving...) ANYWAYS...So this morning I take him to work and I pull into the store and this flood of emotions just come over me. I dont want him to go....and its not cuz I need him....its because I WANT him at home with me.....uhhg. Does this make sense? he drives me NUTTS but hes my love and I love the feeling of when he walks in the door. Uhhg. I know your all going to say "well ask him to try to get some time off, or try to get him to do less shifts..." I would...but hes supervisor. I cant ask him to stop being supervisor...its what pays our bills, KWIM? Im just in a hurting place today and I need a hug These shifts are like ALL day shifts and they suck hairy monkey balls.
Ok rant over. I want a mocha frapp...and someone to come over and chill out with me.....
*ohh and by the way, the kids help out SOO MUCH - and this rant is NOT about them...just solely the fact that I miss my husband and I HATE these shifts!!*

That sucks.
I cried when DH had to go back to work when Nolan was just 6 days old. And he came home about 4 hours later for lunch because he works 10 minutes away. It kills me that he had to go back so soon, I wish he could spend more time with him.

Yuck... I know long shifts really suck for both parties involved. I'm sorry you are having a rough time with it. Is there an end in sight for his long shifts or will he be working them on a regular basis?

Hes been slowly adding more in to please his boss. I knew this day was coming Once we have the baby his boss can flick off. I cant have a new baby AND 2 preschoolers and jay working an ALL day shift. I just wont be able to do it!! Yes, this is a regular ongoing thing some times he takes breaks and schedules in more opening shifts (I LOVE them because hes off by 2:30!!) It just blows

I know how you feel, right now I only get to spend time with Matt two days a week and I have to work 4 hours on those days. I'm not even pregnant and it kills me, so I can only imagine with you.

I'm sorry he is having to work so many of these shifts. I bet that is hard on you with you having to watch the kids and getting more and more preggo!

(((HUGS))) I know how you feel! Shane works night shift so we only see eachother on the weekend from Saturday PM to Monday PM (if I don't work Monday). I wish I could just steal him for like 2 weeks straight. I miss him all the time! At least you won't be preggo for TOO much longer!
