So I'm taking over some programs that my soon-to-be-boss is handing over because he's moving up and going to be a Manager.

Everyone knows that I'm working until I go into labor so if I dont come in, Lani's either here or on her way.

He forwarded me a meeting invite for April 13th and I put tentative and wrote "If I'm still baking, I'll be there". He apologized to me and wanted to know my exact due date for the 15th time. I told him the 16th. He goes "I hope you have a wonderful delivery and please tell me and my fiance how great of an experience it is, even if it isnt!"

He's ready for a child but his fiance isnt ready yet. He's been trying to convince her for some time now. They get married in the fall. A friend of their just had a baby and had a not so great birthing experience, so that kind of depressed him b/c that made her want to further push off having kids.

That just made my heart melt because I dont know of too many guys who are actually looking for ways to convince their SOs to have kids.

That is so amazing, I love stories like that Andy didn't want kids until we were 24 or 25... he JUST turned 22 After we found out we were expecting Taylor he was totally excited and had to practically BEG me this time to get pregnant. All I know is once this baby is here I'm DONE DONE DONE

My dad's best friend divorced his wife because she got a hysterectomy when he was out of town for 5 weeks on business.

And that's how it was for Guy and I. He wanted this baby so bad and me, well I wanted to wait.

That is super sweet and sounds exactly like my DF! He suggested we have babies 3 MONTHS after we got together!! I was like 'h*ll no, are you insane?!' Took me a number of years before I was ready!

What a nice guy! He sounds like a nice boss.

DH wanted to start trying before I did too.

And taking over some of your boss's responsibilities has to be a good thing! Maybe you'll get his job some day?

Congrats on the new responsibilities!

I'm really hoping that Shane will be so in love with this baby that he might want one more in a couple or few years. I still want to try for a boy eventually! Pass some of that baby-hungry-husband dust over here!
