Hmm... maybe try going up in size?! Can't hurt. If you find they are too big you can hang on to them until he is that size.

OMG, all those smileys
As for the diapers I use LUVS and Taylor (when she's in them) where's a size 5 and Rylie's in a size 3 Pampers leaked ALL the time for us. I LOVE Huggies but LUVS has worked just as well for us and they're a tad cheaper.

We used huggies and a store brand(shopko) for Seamus. I hated Luvs and Pampers(from what I've found out they are the same company just luvs are the cheaper down graded version of papmers, they both have that stupid jelly stuff when baby pees) with a passion with him they always leaked never failed. Seamus was in size 5's till a couple months before he turned 3, so he was around 30-36lbs in size 5's, then went from 36-40lbs in 6's. He only wears pull ups now at night(day potty trained) but if we had to he could still wear 6's at night and hes 46lbs

I would buy a small pack of diapers in the next bigger size to see if that does the trick. That usually solves any leaking problems we have had.
What type of Pampers are you using? I use the Baby Dry's (in 1 sz bigger than daytime) and haven't had a leak yet even when they are on 12 hrs overnight.

I think it depends on the childs height and waist size too, I kind of throw the weight recommendation on diapers out cause Seamus never followed it. Even now if we were to get the 5t pullups which is what his weight says, then he leaks. He still wears a 4t (or 3t-4t) in them. Seamus is tall (so even though he weighs alot for his age you wouldn't tell because of his height, his waist is smaller then a short baby that would weigh the same as seamus) so he was able to stay in sizes longer and past the weight size on them

I would say to try to go down a size. Typically if it leaks that much its too big hence as soon as he pees, its running out.
My mom swears by Huggies. Said she used em with me and I never got a rash and had very few leaks.

Is the diaper full? I believe when you go up a size you get more absorbency as well.

I would suggest buying a small pack of the next size and see how they work since they worked pretty well for you before. If you still have the problem when the bigger size then you can check around for other brands.
I use pampers and we have a few leaks here and there but they're very rare.

I used to buy Luvs for Cambria cause they were cheapier and we didn't have too many problems with them. Ive been buying Pamper's though lately. I did use some Luvs on her a week ago and she kept saying "Ouch" and pulling on them so I think they might not fit her as good anymore. Cambria Is in Size 4's and Is 23Lb's. She's skinny everywhere and has a Big Ole Belly!

Matthew is 22 lb and I use size 4 pampers. We don't usually have problems unless he is up a TON at night nursing. Oh and it's the baby dry not the cruisers.

No he is leaking all day long! He will be sitting in my lap and I will feel it on my leg, and when I check his diaper its completely dry. The oddest part is it seems to be coming out the top of his diapers other then the side. The only thing I can think of is he is constantly pulling at them trying to get naked. Yes he learned to take his pants off.... I thought it was adorable at first LOL! He was back at 25 lbs at his recent appointment but the diapers fit just the same. I am thinking my scale if off because when I hopped on the doc's scale I was a bit more then I though too
I think I am going to buy a small pack of a few different brands when I get back to the states (6 days) since they don't sell anything but big packs here. I really hope I like Luvs because they are like $6 cheaper then what I'm buying now!!!!
Its going to be super fun on a 10 hour flight with leaky diapers!

Got pampers size 5 today. They fit like the huggies size 4 and feel thinner and cheaper winch is odd since they cost more lol! Its weird to see him in them since he has worn diapers with Winne the pooh on them since he was tiny and these one's have elmo!
