He is SO good! He just hung out and played and squealed and spit and gnawed on stuff for like a good hour after i fed him, then i changed him and he rubbed his eyes so i layed him down and he was asleep in like 60 seconds! I'm worried now that I'll end up with a psycho baby after i'm used to babies acting like this hehe really though, WHAT a good boy! ha oh and i told him he was doing a good job gnawing on his toys and he was all happy about it.

I went from angle baby Ian, who although woke up every 2 hours, was easy as pie to lay down, he ALWAYS slept the max time allowed, and was just a happy camper.

Then I said "watch, Morgan will be complete opposite" NEVER wish that on yourself!!! I got dr. jekyl and Mr. Hyde - NOT joking. She had colic/acid reflux from HELL, ALWAYS cried. She slept in her cradle swing the first 4 MONTHS because NO ONE could touch her, other wise she would start crying She was the hardest baby Ive seen to this day! When I had my niece for thoes few weeks - she was PERFECT. Never cried, barely spit up, always went to sleep with you holding her...a few times I just sat there and shed some tears....thats how I wanted it to be with Morgan and I never got that bonding time with her in the beginning SO ANYWAYS what Im trying to say is...dont wish that upon yourself because youll be kicking yourself in the arse when your child really is Mr. hyde.

To this day...that is her personality. She is Grammy LaVon *my maternal grandmother* Independent, stubborn, stuck in her ways, and has a heart big enough for the entire world. I love her to pieces, and not just because shes my kid - its because I have the same personality.....

Sorry I didnt mean to turn this into a novel

awe beth i'm sorry you didnt get that with morgan. i'm def not wishing for a grumpy baby that's for sure. ok i hope nobody is offended by me comparing kids to dogs, but my dog really taught me a lot about accepting everyone's different personalities because she is so not a 'dog type of dog'. she is also set in her ways, and we eventually figured out what works for us and the dog is such a happy part of our family now, though i def shed many a tear walking home from the park, but not anymore!

anyways i am glad SIL got a well behaved baby, she's so gaga for him, its beautiful!

No it doesnt sound weird - in fact my horse helped me quite a bit. Its not every day you seen an 18/19yr old ASKING her 22yr old fiancée to get married so we can live life better. Im one of thoes that dont agree with the statement that marriage is "just a piece of paper" Im not scared of commitment, and neither is he. When we had Ian, it just felt right, it didnt feel like I was a teenager having a baby - it felt like he was ment to be! So having the horses, thats a big commitment, and I think its whats helped my marriage...stupid really...but ya get the point

Doesn't sound weird at all. Animals and other things can teach you about different personalities, additional responsibilities and how to cope in all sorts of situations so having a pet which highlights some of these things is not weird at all. In fact, I think it's good practice. Things may not work out the same, I mean, obviously a baby and a dog are different, but there's still loads of lessons that can be learned.

I'm praying that Lani is just as good of a baby as Miki. I do have a feeling that she's going to be a little wilder just b/c she's a child of mine but I'm praying that she's as sweet as Miki. Just more people friendly.
