I haven't been on JM nearly as much as I used to. The more I stay away, I notice that I rarely think about having another baby or getting pregnant. Even being around pregnant people and talking about it doesn't give me baby fever. THEN, I get on JM and ready about TTCing, BFPs, pregnancies, birth stories, and infants....and WHAM! I get a case of baby fever. A girl in my PR posted that she may start TTC and I got super jealous and had that ache to start trying...but only when I was reading her thread! The feeling goes away as soon as I put away the computer.
Anyone else feel like JM just eggs them on?

Uh yeah. Jack probably wouldn't exist if it weren't for this place. I would have given up with the problems and all and just thought of facing ttc later. And now with certain people maybe being preggo and other people starting to ttc soon, I am like MEEE TOOOOO!!!! But away from the computer I hyperventilate thinking of being pregnant again. Dang you JM!!!!

Yes!!!!! I don't think about being pregnant when I'm not on JM....I can go anywhere else on the internet and not think about it. And now I'm pregnant and I can't help but think other peoples problems might become mine instead of dealing with the problems I already have....Love JM though!

I should also say, I am of course very happy I have Jack So in his case, it was a good sort of pressure it was easier to face it knowing people were rooting for me

When I first came to JM, I posted in the Pregnancy after Loss board because I haddn't had af after my m/c and was wondering if I was pregnant. Someone came and said that I should post on some ttc board and I didn't know what it was at the time. And i was posting there left and right even though we weren't ttc, infact we were going to go on b/c when I got my progesterone shot and then ended up pregnant w/ seamus

Totally! When i started thinking abot TTC, I had baby fever, but was planning on waiting a few years. Once I started posting... everything moved in fast forward. At the same time... i'm grateful, it took a few years to concieve anyway.

It was bad for me for a while, but I've really come to terms with waiting and I really don't have much baby fever, and it makes me happy to be on here and see the children and people I care about.
DH had "the" talk the other night... well... I guess it went well, but we have officially put chlidren on hold for at least three years so DH can work further on building his career, since he wants to start his own business. Its a bit upsetting to think I have to wait to slong and my dream to be a young mom is gone, but I've come to terms with it. For the past year, I've been okay with waiting. So it looks like I'll be 27 before we even TTC our first.
