Yup, she is only a yearling. I cant ride her till shes a little over 3 (which is why I got pregnant now, so Id have my 3rd and be done and IN SHAPE before I get on her

) I board her at a barn that offers 23 stalls that people rent out. If I wasnt doing barn chores, I would be paying about $250 a month, and that includes the stall rental, shavings, am and pm hay (hay prices are outrageous!!!) Turnout and bring in. I supply grain, farrier (trimming of her hooves, and shoes later on if need be) and vet services. Since I am doing barn chores, then the $25 a day we get for the chores (cleaning all the full care stalls) feeding and bringing in, is enough to cover her board

were in a pretty sweet place at the moment, and plan to pick up an extra day this summer so well be bringing in a bit more moolah
just for the records - I do NOT agree with getting on quarter horse babies at 2 - its just wrong.
