Yesterday (Saturday), I had to work, so I dropped the boys off with my parents to spend "Easter" with them. I told them "In November, we will have another little one running around here." And my Dad says "Oh....you're kidding me. I'm so scared that your body can't take another pregnancy." But he did says congrats. So, not AS bad as I thought, but not the welcome I was hoping for. Today, we told my MIL, who asked if it was planned So Chris said "Yes, and no. We were planning to plan, but God had a different plan." And she just said she hopes it's a girl (she has 4 grandsons....) and after dinner, I started to get morning sickness, so we started to get everything together so we could leave. My SIL was walking out with Chris to help load stuff in the car and he told her and I guess she's not too happy. But she just had a miscarriage last August, so I understand it's hard for her. She didn't say anything to me, just I noticed I got weird looks from her, so I asked Chris why she was looking at me strangly...and he said that he told her that we were expecting. I guess she asked why I wasn't feeling well. And that's when he told her. So....all in all, not a bad as I thought....
Although, my dad did tell me that he thought I should get my tubes tied when I go in for my c-section. Since they're so convinced for some reason that I'm going to die if I have another baby that I didn't bring up the fact that I was going to try to have a VBA2C.

I'm sorry they weren't super excited like they should be about this awesome blessing, but I'm glad no one seemed to make a big stink or be too innappropriate about it!
It's sso weird they act like you're gonna die in childbirth or something though. Why do you think that is?

Why on earth do they think this is so dangerous for you??? I don't remember, did you have complications in your previous pregnancies?
I'm glad it went okay. At least your dad seems to be reacting that way out of concern for you, whether well placed or not, instead of just because he is trying to impose his opinion on your family.

Thanks Ladies, it really helps that I have you!
I don't know why everyone thinks having a baby is so bad for me! I had a lot of swelling and water retention with Edward and with Preston, I went into labor early. But I have an odd shaped uterus, which I knew was likely to happen. But other than that, my family seems to think I was TOO big when I was pregnant and because I was tired at the end of both pregnancies, like most women, that for some reason pregnancy is too much for me! I appreciate their concern, but I experienced the same things other pregnant women experienced.
