I wanted to take these pics when we go kite flying today but so far it's been overcast with little wind so I decided to go ahead and take them. I hope the wind picks up before DH heads off to watch car racing otherwise we will have to go kite flying another time. (DH bought the kite, I would have bought one that had brighter, "girlier" colors but it has the colors of our national flag.)

I made a little Easter basket for Miss Amara. I had to use water balloons to make Easter eggs since I didn't have any dye/paint to do real ones. They didn't turn out too badly. Here are a few pics.

I got her the Jumbo Aquadoodle mat, DH got her the kite and my MIL got her the Your Baby Can Read set.

Gymboree outfits and shoes.

Expressions!! lol! A "funny" face from Easter Sunday in one of her outfits from Gymboree.

I have to braid her hair when she's sleeping and it takes about 1 1/2 hours to do. I don't have to braid it all the time because it's curly and really soft but it tangles a lot so I try to braid it as often as I can. She'll never let me do it if she's awake so I don't even try.

It's kind of bittersweet to watch her growing up. She's not a baby anymore. *sniffles*

Bonus close-up of her silly face.

I love her hair too! I was thinking how it must be hard to do while she is awake because I know it takes awhile to do braids. I love all of her new dresses. She is getting big!

I'll let you know.

My first impression when I saw the ad a while ago were that it was a marketing ploy and you could get the same results from making your own flash cards, etc. Now that I have it I'll see if that changes.
