So, since I have an anterior placenta, my midwife sent me in for another u/s - and I LOVE u/s!!! So, Baby is measuring about a week and a half behind (yet my belly is measuring 4 weeks ahead, go figure) She is (give or take) 4lbs 11oz and head down It was super cool to see all her fat, and body organs!! shes super cute...even though I only saw eye sockets shes so squishy The placenta moved up to the top of my uterus so its no where near the cervix. She was moving the entire time probably yelling "get off me!!!"
So I go in on monday and pick up my water birthing tub and supplys! This is becoming soooo real!! Im exactly 34 weeks today, and the midwife said since Im having a home birth (and the hospital will take me in for a c-section if I went in there in labor) If I go after 35 weeks (NEXT WEEK!!) she wont stop me! WOW! I dont feel like Im ready at all yet, Izzy is having fun just baking away (well, all my babies have LOL, its comfy in there Ian tells me to this day ) Ive gained a total of 20lbs, but since my GD was diagnosed (Im not really GD, just had high numbers after fasting we've concluded) Ive been on the high protein/low refined sugar diet - Ive lost 3 lbs guess what diet Im sticking with after wards? LOL So anyways, I think thats it from me. Baby is good, Momma is good (well, my kidney isnt but thats an after thought) Should be my last update till I go into labor if all things keep going smoothly!
Im so excited
~Beth
